Skandar's dad is a handsome man, but older than I would have thought. If you believe the biography of him there in Wikipedia, then it is no wonder Skandar doesn't believe in God! His father is a decorated "humanist," and in general secular humanists believe man himself is the highest animal, and can redeem himself. They feel belief in God is a weakness, and man should just stand on his own two feet. The little article says Skandar's mum is Lebanese, and you can certainly see the mixing of two cultures in Skandar with his deepset eyes and soulful face. Thanks for posting the link.

I find Skandar doesn't really look like his dad. A little bit, but not a lot. His dad kinda looks mean.

Yeah! I thought he was only like, 40 or something, but he looks at least 50, maybe 55!

Yes, that's kinda old to have a teenaged son, but my own hubby is 57 and has a 16-year-old daughter. It was just surprising.

....I know a girl with a 79 year old dad and and a 58 year old mom and she is only 12

I kinda agree tho he does KIND OF look a bit oldish for him. I said KINDA ok, kind of lol.

Wow.... That explains why he's not a christian.... Funny that he should end up in a christian movie... Maybe it was God's way of tugging at his heart. Maybe someday soon we will see God work His wonders in Skandar's life...
