They still are filming some shots. They are shooting in Newport Beach, CA. You can see the Black Pearl coming in after filming around 5:00pm.

It's probably extra footage since films usually wrap about 3 or 4 months ahead of release. LOTR kept filming even after TTT was released; they filmed more scenes for it.

ok, i need to say this: pintel is the pirate who says "poppet" and Ragetti is the one who has the wooden eye on his right side. I was going thru all the posts and everyone was getting them mixed up [i should know, im possibly the biggest potc fan on earth!]
