I think I'm missing something..
(I'm thinking that Tia Dalma might've been some sort of goddess or something? I've read a lot of rumors.. some people on IMDB have said that she needs, like a bunch of certain pirate together all at once to set her free or something. That line in the trailer about getting all the pirate lords from all four corners of the earth makes me really suspicious- although it's probably just my overactive imagination.

Yeah. Personally, and maybe it was just the stuff on Bill's face, but they didn't look very much alike.
The Turkish soldiers picked it up and fought over it, but then, the Kraken put a quick end to it. The Kraken spit it up at the end, right before it swallows Jack. (and I could kill Elizabeth for chaining him to the mast.)
