hayley held up her now bandged hnad. "then can he explain this? I've been throught enough battering in that car crash!" Insently she paled at what she had let slip. 'oh no..'
 
"Who-Who said I had a crush on you-you?" Edmund defened, stammering his words nervously.

Lucy snickered. "Your making it obvious Ed." She then turned her attention to Hayley, suddenly shocked at her words. "...car crash?" She asked, curiously.
 
Kris took his hand" Yes, she isright you know,"She told him, with a giggle" Oh I'm so sorry I'm Kris Queen of the Breave and white knight of Narnai,"She told the girl.

He sighed. "Okay...but...only a little one." He finally admitted, though a smile cracked his lips when she took hold of his hand.

"Hayley, if you don't mind me asking, ....what happened?" Lucy looked at her friend in concern.
 
Iris walked up to them "oh hayley what have you've done now." she cried.
Hayley looked deafated. " I'm not telling them." she agruged the wolf gave her a look "
oh fine...The truth is.. I can't go back to your.. i mean our, world"
 
"Why not?" Edmund asked, now cussenly curious. "What's the big secret?"

"Ed...don't be so pushy!" Lucy slapped his arm lightly. "She doesn't have to tell us if she doesn't want too..." She then turned her attention on the next few words Hayley spoke. She gasped. "But...why not?"
 
Hayley gave another smile, yet it was small and sad. Sher voice was usally soft in what she spoke next. " I can't go back to a world I no longer exist in." she paused as if if thinking over her next words carfully. " I...died there"
 
Kris pulled her hair up still holding Edmund hand with the other" Yes Edmund you don't have to be so rude,"She told him,now fixing her armor" I'm from their wold to, but I told know how to go back now I'm a helpless elf wanting to go back home,"She told her ,with treas rolling down her cheeks like rain.
 
Lucy let out a broken gasp, tears clowded her vision. "You...you...died? but...how?"

Alana looked over and noticed that Caoilinn was no longer with them. She walked underneath Iris's body and looked up at her. "Where is she going?"
 
Hayley bowed her head as she told what she rembeberd. " My parents were driving My brothers and I to the station to take us to school. We were acutally heading to my grandfathers house to stay there for the night before. Its was raining, and it was dark. My father lost control of the car and we went off the road.. The next thing I knew I woke up here in Nairna with aslan next to me."

Lucy listened intently as she re-told the tragix story of her vary own death. She flincthed slightly at the mere thought. "Oh Hayley...I'm so sorry....but you could look on the brightside. It is a lot nicer here then it is there..." She offered a small smile.

Edmund glared at Kris. "I am not rude!" He pouted.
 
Kris laugh" No you just cute,"She said, still with treas rolling down her cheeks" I wonder if we see Aslan I might be able to go back to England with you oh Edmund want't that be great,"She said, whipping her trea away now having a smile on her face. her pointy eyes pock up.

Suddenly Alana leapt right into his arms. "I'm tired of standing." She said simply, giving him a smile.


Edmund looked at Kris, although his face fell a little at the mention of returning to England. "Don't you like it here, though?" He asked, his heart longed for Narnia.
