Prince Caspian Soundtrack

^^Both of those songs = mad love.

I love the lyrics to "Dance Round the Memory Tree." Alas, not so fond of his voice. :/

I LOVE the st!!!! I just wish the whole thing were on it. They left out a lot of what's in the movie.

Hey you guys...I found this music by musician on PofC soundtrack

I loved the music so much from Chronicles of Narnia I checked into who did the soundtrack and found this CD by from BIOMUSIQUE and is called 10,000 steps...Its by Lisbeth Scott & Greg Ellis - Greg Ellis did soundtracks for Chronicles, Ironman and 300 Gladiators...it is so cool..a very unique feeling to it...very calming and passionate with a wicked beat!! It says " eclectic percussionist Greg Ellis weaves a layered soundscape of richly atmospheric songs, ranging from poignantly moving to radiantly serene." It really is amazing!!!! I ordered it and can't wait to hear it the entire CD... If you want to check it out, here is the link....

Then I went to the record label site for some more background info and found a bunch of other really cool stsuff there as well...

As I usually do with movie soundtracks, I'm going to listen to it tonight in bed. :)
LOL I do the opposite and use a new CD for my alarm in the morning! (Of course, I have to set a second alarm because I'm usually still under the covers enjoying my fave music... but, oh well!)
Alas, not so fond of his voice. :/
I know the feeling... like So Close from Enchanted!
I would like all the PC songs better if the singers were a bit better. But then, perhaps I am too fastidious.

I know, but they can't make a two and a half hour CD. (I don't know why not but there seems to be some sort of very old, bad, and unbreakable habit about it!)

The guy's voice is way different from what you usually here and I like it a lot.

As far as the OST not having particular songs, the one that comes to mind immediately is the Night Raid BEFORE Caspian enters Miraz's room. The OST track begins the raid song after he's pointing the sword at Miraz's throat, while the movie has a lengthy score from the moment you see the first gryphons delivering the kids to the rooftops. I was especially keen to this because I like Reepicheep's 'horn' that sounds during his moments in the tracks.

So hopefully we'll see some Recording Sessions as with the LWW soundtrack.

I like the beginning piece when Caspian flees the castle. I think that is one of the best parts in the score.

I agree completely. I just listened to the whole soundtrack and "Prince Caspian Flees" was definitely my favorite. The music added to the suspense of the scene yet had a sad melody to it as well (which was my favorite part of the score).

"Prince Caspian Flees" is my favourite track also. I love it so much. I also really love "Arrival At Aslan's How" , "Raid on the Castle" and "The Return of the Lion." So, so good :D

Does anyone know if there is an "Inspired by" CD?
I have the original soundtrack and I love it! I especially like Prince Caspian Flees, The Duel, Arrival at Aslan's How ,and The Call

It's definitely one of the better soundtracks out there! The music is very sweeping and fast paced and feels like it has some real emotion packed into it.

HGW is an excellent composer. Many of the scores I have are from movies he composed such as Kingdom of Heaven and Forbidden Kingdom. Both are very unique in their own way, but that's what I like yhis music. Overall though, I would have to say that he and Hans Zimmer (Pirates, Gladiator) are my favorite movie composers. I love John Williams work, but unfortunately the SW and Indy Jones music is a bit overused imo.

I really want it...maybe I can convince my mom to let be go buy it..."The Call" by Regina Spektor is haunting me (good way)....it's so painfully beautiful much like "Into the West" by Annie Lennox

I have the mp3 file, I found it one the internet somewhere.

It is an amazingly beautiful song. The second time I watched the movie (not the first or the third, but the second!), I started bawling when the song started playing. Ehe.

Which soundtrack are you guys talking about? Was it another version, because I just bought the Prince Caspian soundtrack today.

Also,I cant get into the bonus contents they have in that CD.I popped it in my PC and nothing happened. Can anyone help, please?

Thanks in advance.

I bought the soundtrack the day it came out (at Wal-Mart, since they always seem to have the cheapest price). Like the At World's End soundtrack, it comes in cardboard instead of the usual plastic CD case (I think they're just trying something different, since the plastic cases can break so easily). As an extra special treat, both Ben Barnes and Switchfoot were guest stars on Leno that same night! I was hoping that they (meaning Switchfoot, of course) would perform This is Home, since I love that song so much! Another track I can't stop listening to is Prince Caspian flees.:D

I think each song is special and unique, i have a few faves
Prince Caspian flees, Miraz crowned, sorcery and sudden vengence, the call-those are my main faves but like i said before the entire c.d. is great

I don't think there is an "inspired by" CD this time around, or else it would have come out with the score soundtrack (though I could be wrong). I guess they figured that they covered all the themes with the first one.;)
