Prince Caspian soundtrack

What do you think about the soundtrack? I just bought it today and I LOVE it! :D My favorite songs are Prince Caspian flees, Raid on the Castle, The Call and This is Home. What are your favorites?

NOTE: mods if this is in the wrong place, please feel free to move it. :)
 
omg i love that soundrack :Di have the one for the lion the witch and the wardrobe too:D. i got the prince caspian one for christmas i love battle at aslans how,raid on the castle,and the armies assemble :D
 
I love it too! :D I thought it was practically the same score as the first with a couple new themes with the old themes remixed, but I still loved the new feel. :) My fav. tracks are "Prince Caspian Flees" (obviously :rolleyes), "Raid on the Castle," "The Duel," "Battle at Aslan's How," and "The Call" (only if it's my version I remixed into a suite of the soundtrack I made, which you can hear here! :D).

Glad to see another fan. :)
 
ya there were a lot of the old themes in the music but it had a darker feel to it ...i wan tto see what the new composer is going to do with votdt

Yeah, I felt the same way too. Though I only have The Battle on my iPod from my first movie, I could still tell that parts of it were used in other scores.

And I'm disappointed in This is Home. The version on the soundtrack just isn't as good as the one on the official music video. It's too slow. I had to go to Youtube and convert the original one to my iPod.

WHAT!?!?!?!?!? How can you not like that one?!?!? I guess its all in perspective and what you like, but that one is the best out of the songs and score, I think. It'd go better with Last Battle though.

Well, I'm starting to like it more and more, but the one that they used for the music video is just better. I'm also disappointed that they changed up the song in the credits and they put the original on the soundtrack, I seem to like that one just a little better. Though, I would agree with you, it is AWESOME! :D
 
I really love the soundtrack, it's beautiful. I absolutely adore The Call. :) I like This Is Home too, but it doesn't really fit with the PC story that well. It fits better with the theme of TLB.

I definitely think the soundtrack for LWW was better, though. The score was much more memorable than that of PC (in my opinion).

I agree. I listened to my LWW soundtrack more than I do with my PC one. The only songs I really listen to on my PC soundtrack are This Is Home, The Call, and one other one I can't remember right now. The songs are great though.

Me. I prefer the PC one. I got the LWW one yesterday, and it's good, but I enjoy the second one more. But maybe it's because I've listened to it just a little longer than the LWW one. :p

i love the score .... very beautiful ...
it's a little bit darker as lww but the score of lww is more epic as this one

my fave tracks are: caspian flees, the kings and queens of narnia, arrival at aslans how and the duel

Personally I prefer the door in the air, probably because it reminds me the moment of the film I prefer, however all the cd is perfect...Among the songs I definitely love The call and Lucy, this one reminds me the snow when it falls down...it gives a sense of peace...

I learned from the Net that The call was written by regina sapektor with the aim to describe the final situation of the film from the point of view of Lucy, instead at the beginning I thinked that the song was written from the point of view of Susan...well I love both of them!!!And my signature can confirme it!!
