I see nothing in french, and also, I don't believe that was ever for certain. We've got reliable sources that say casting hasn't started yet, and one of the strongest rumors going around is that Alex Pettyfer is in the top 2 to be chosen for the part...so unless they confirmed something very recently, its false.
