i'm just trying to figure out what newtons third law and take down notes.

Not the first and second laws of the Thermodynamics? Aw. Oh well. I guess there's no excuse to get you to listen to The First and Second Law by Flanders and Swann, then.

oh. i was under the impression that a casserole was just some sort of pan, because here, it is. apparently, for you it is just the dish that's made in the pan? (that would be called narrowing.)

Oh, that makes more sense then . . . we usually call the pan a 'casserole dish' or 'casserole pan'. Though looking at the dictionary . . . you are right!

But the generally impression I get when I hear the word (and I'm guessing Catherine thought the same?) is something baked in a casserole dish, usually for dinner. So we don't know our own language . . .
