[RP] the picture in my avvie is of a ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) wielding a Covenant Carbine (Alien Partical Rifle). ODSTs are dropped from ships in outer space. They are contained in pods that break through the atmosphere and crash land in a combat zone. ODSTs are sent on the most hazardious, perilious missions. They are sent on top secret missions, to support overrun forces and to take bakc captured territories. They are regarded as the 'best of best', athough truly they are second only to the Spartans.
