Which version? I give the BBC version a 10, because it was faithful to the book. I give the newer version an 8, because I like Georgie Henley as Lucy better than the BBC Lucy.

I posted about Meet Me In St. Louis. I am glad you enjoyed it, because I loved that movie too! I never saw the version of The Nutty Professor starring Jerry Lewis, but I haven't seen the newer one either. Race to Witch Mountain is an excellent film, and it stars the amazing, beautiful and talented Annasophia Robb.
