8. Personally, and I will probably always be of this opinion: it was closer to the book than its sequel. Plus I liked the music more. And the movie itself was more enjoyable. Even with its flaws.
It's a very good movie. I wasn't moved by Emma Watson's acting, and I feel it has been lacking of late. She was good in the first three Harry Potter films, and the BBC adaptation of "Ballet Shoes". But I feel her acting has gone somewhat down in some other roles that I have seen her in. I'm not saying its her fault. It could be anything. How they want to character to act during certain scenes, or just a poorly written script. I hope her talent shines brightly again in "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower."
