"What?" he asked still playing the song, "he was a jerk he didn't deserve to be happy."

"He wasn't a jerk. He was just upset. His first girlfriend killed herself, then Mimi almost died."

"Yah but he didn't even hear her out." he said as stopped playing, "She and Benny didn't even do anything and she tried to tell him that but no, he wouldn't listen. he just left." he pasued then continued, "she should have dumped him."

Kirby raised an eyebrow. "People make mistakes, Blake, it's a fact of life. At least he realized what a mistake he had made."

he shrugged, "It still should have ended with him not getting her." he stated mater of factly

"Wow, cynical. How refreshing for a guy to be cynical." Kirby replied sarcastically.

"I perfer realist." he retorted

"What's wrong with believing in a little happy ending? Really, Blake. What happened to make you such a sad angry person?"

"Who said I was sad or angry?" he shot with a frown," and by the way...happy endings aren't a part of real life."

 

[Sunshine]

Kirby sighed. "Fine, be a sad little person. But life isn't going to be happy for you if you don't occasionally think happy."

Kirby shrugged. "I just get the feeling from you," she said.

he snorted, "Well feelings can be missleading." was he wearing his heart on his sleave? was it that easy to read him?

Kirby shrugged. "Maybe. but maybe I'm right."

"whatever," he said as he started playing on of thier band songs.

Kirby rolled her eyes and turned back to the mic.

"Hello?" Will said, his phone pressed against his ear. "Oh, yes, of course.... uh huh, we're - yep, that's right! Of course, we'll see you in a few minutes." Will hung up the phone. "Ten minutes you guys, are you ready?"

Blake smiled, "I've been ready for this...for a very long time," he grinned.

"Oh my gosh...ten minutes." Jason said wide eyed "Do you guys relize that in ten minutes our lives could change forever...ever...ever" He said dramatically adding an unessisary echo.
