"Because if the record company talked to YOU, they'd probably laugh in our faces. Besides, she went to church and stuff, she should have this kind of thing engraved in her memory."

"Ah, thank you Will, for furthering the stereotype that every girl who goes to church is a good little girl who says please and thank you." Kirby said, rolling her eyes. It's true, she did have manners, but being around these guys didn't exactly encourage being polite.

"Hey I knew some girls who went to church... they weren't good girls at all." Jason said smirking and waggling his eyebrows "So I guess that disproves your assumptions."

"There are so many things wrong with that statement, I can't even begin to tell you," she said, shaking her head.

"You know what I think? This whole cocky additude is a facade to cover up the fact that you are really self depricating and that you really aren't at all sure of yourself. Tell me, Jason, am I at all on track?" she asked.

"Alright, let's stop now," Will said, stepping between the two.

"Wait...what the hell does self depricating mean." Jason said with a confused look "Could you try and use words normal people can actually understand."

Kirby just laughed, leaning over as she tried to catch her breath.

Will shot her a look and sighed. "Self depricating means that you constantly tear yourself down and never let yourself be proud."

Jason sighed "Kirby you're so right...." he said solemnly, shaking his head, but actually totally pretending to agree with Kirby. "Psh, yeah right." Jason laughed.

"Whatever Jason, but remember, when you realize how much you actually ARE faking it, I have the total right to say 'I told you so.'"

"That's for me to know and you to never find out." Kirby said, smirking slightly. "And not to distract anyone from our riveting conversation about your id, ego, and super ego, but if I could get the music for the other songs, I kinda need to get going."

Will nodded. "I'll be right back, they're just out in my car." He left to go get the music, hoping that they wouldn't kill eachother.

"I'll be sure to make a note of that for the next time I feel myself becoming bitter," Kirby replied, picking up her purse. "But for now, I'm going to say goodbye. See you all tomorrow," she said, waving to the other.

Will met her as she was about to walk out and handed her a wad of papers. she shoved them in her bag and left.

"So, what do you guys think? Can we do this?" he asked as the door closed behind her.
