Recycled Tuesdays and the Record Company

Uh, the record company guy just left and he said they would be getting a call soon and then he'd sign them.

"Sorry?" she said, raising an eyebrow.

"it's not the easest thing to just come out and say," he said then took a deep breath and kissed her

Kirby pulled away, surprised. "Oh..." she said, her eyes wide. "oh...."

"Yah," he said not looking away from her, "Like I said no medeocrity."

 

[Sunshine]

"Oh..." Kirby said again. "Right."

"So what's the verdict?" he asked waiting. he couldn't even believe what he was doing

 

[Sunshine]

Kirby tilted her head, thinking. "Well, medicrity isn't very exciting..." she murmured. "I guess my answer is yes...."

he chuckled looking down, "Well then," He smiled, "that was honsetly not what I was expecting you to say."

 

[Sunshine]

"I always was one for some risk," Kirby said, shrugging. "why not? I mean, what's the worst that could happen?"

"you could end up leaving the band and me broken with us looking for another lead singer," he teased

 

[Sunshine]

"Perhaps. But, I don't think I would do that..." Kirby said, smiling.

 

[~Grateful * Surrender~]

"I hope not," his smile grew, "or I would have to start all over again and it is tireing let me tell you."

 

[Sunshine]

"Oh I believe you," she replied, nodding, her face betraying a taste of sarcasm.

"I know I wasn't very nice to you Kirby and I'm sorry," he said resting his hand over her's

 

[Sunshine]

"It's alright. I guess you have to be nice to me now," she said, smirking slightly.

"I guess I do," he said returning the look, "but I don't mind so much now."

 

[Sunshine]

"Yeah?" Kirby said, "And what makes it so different now than it was, oh, ten minutes ago?"

"Im not fighting it now, and I was ten minuts ago." he chuckled, "and I know where you stand on it."

 

[Sunshine]

"Oh," Kirby said, smiling. "It makes so much sense now."

"What does?" he asked his fingers slowly curling around hers
