Release date pushed back!

Isn't there something you could do to petition the... I don't know... Whoever is in charge of scheduling? Oh, and by the way, I'll be in the vicinity of 20, too, if it actually comes out at that time. Doesn't really bother me because I've always loved Narnia and always will! :D

What does bother me is that the kids are going to look way too old. I mean, the were already on the brink of too old in LWW. By the time VDT rolls around they'll barely even look like kids anymore...

ok i dont want them to push it back, but if its going to make the movie better then i dont care. i can wait. but ONLY if its going to make the movie better

I know! It's crazy....some people don't care about those things...the books aren't important to them! Just the money!

I wonder when they will start filming. The Dufflepuds needed a young girl to read the spell from the Magician's Book. Georgie is 12 right now. I hope she will still qualify as a young girl when they do that scene.

No I did not! It means a full TWENTY-FOUR MORE MONTHS! I cannot wait that long! But it'll probably be for the best.

I hope.

oh well...ur shruging-shoulders kinda answer didn't seem to upset. but it's comforting to know you too shall join the protest...lol...not really but...ya know. Figuratively speaking.

Well, I don't know that a protest will change things much. If the Screen Actors Guild, of which the VDT director is the president, is scheduled to go on strike, there's not much that they can do about it all. I'm sure this isn't what Disney/Walden had in mind, especially after Mark Johnson's commentary at Comic Con. It's a total bummer, but it is the way it is. It's out of their control. That and they also changed it for the kids' schedules...if parents have reservations about their kids doing back to back movies...it's also out of the production company's control. I'm gonna guess yall don't want Georgie or Skandar replaced, so I'm guessing we can handle the wait. Sad, but there it is.

Aww man... I'm so bummed. This is totally not cool. It seems like this is just taking forever... It seems like LotR was so much quicker. On the bright side, though, the new release date will be the day before my 18th birthday, so I can have a Narnia party. :p:D Oh my, I just realized I will be 18 when it comes out! That sounds so old. By the time they make all of the movies I'll probably be a grandma!

The LOTR was filmed togther, so they just had to edit it. But it also took fiveyears till film......

It is true the Dufflepuds needed a young girl but for them, Lucy was the only young girl around. Remember that in the book she wasn't really that young. In fact she was already too old to come back to Narnia again :(
