Science fiction author John Ringo (whose parents intentionally named him for the famous 19th-century outlaw Johnny Ringo) wrote a series about the Posleen War. The Posleen were merciless, mindless predators, whose invasions of oxygen-atmosphere planets were directed by the smart, intentionally cruel Darhel. Mankind on the targeted world (for whom their Earth was THE Earth) would have had no chance on their own; but other advanced aliens, who couldn't fight but who could EQUIP others with superior armaments, evened the odds. Like Heinlein's Starship Troopers, John Ringo's mobile infantrymen possessed powered armor; think Iron Man.
An outstanding hero in the Posleen War was an UN-armored scout named Jacob Mosovich. He relied on his far greater intellect and refined instincts to outsmart gangs of Posleen.
Here's where the "Spacebullies" premise comes in. Quite a while ago, I caused my Jacob (surname now Mossyhutch) to be teleported to a world based on "Reach" in the Halo game. Visiting Planet Stretch, Mossyhutch helped Master Chief (Master CHAMP to me) against villains of diverse origins. He met, fell in love with, and married Raquel Delgado, a policewoman formerly serving on my version of Babylon Five. Just to thicken the broth, some nonhuman Jedi types helped out against the ferocious Juggernasties.
I'm pretty sure that the Mossyhutches are far enough along in their timeline so that removing them from the Heyhoverse won't contradict anything which is canon for Spacebullies. We can say that Cortexa (the free-willed android who is married to Master Champ) reprogrammed a Heyho Ring (think Stargate, only much wider in aperture) so the Mossyhutches can return in a shuttle to their Jacob's Earth, which has been purged of all Postalfiends. No Barnsmell except some reformed ones will figure in this new story; enough to say that all still-evil Barnsmell have been chased away in humiliating defeat. The only bit of backstory needed is to note that some Barnsmell struck up an alliance with Admiral Skrawn from the Empire of Evil Badness. Good guys from the Up-Side Fellowship liberated Planet Riggblit from Skrawn's forces plus Barnsmell.
The ONLY remaining pre-noted parody-casting involves three more "non-player characters." The Ultraviolet Griffin, who spends most of his time in the Triangulum Galaxy and is pals with King Woollywoofin (NPC #2), is currently escorting the so-far-childless- but-that -is-subject-to-change Mossyhutches. Griffin will take them places and keep them safe, but won't intervene unnecessarily. The third and last potential cavalry-to-the-rescue character, totally new, is a human female Green Flashlight, medium-brown hair, named Ruthie Booker, full-figured but not repulsive. Her first field training was on Zazdub World. I'm ninety-nine percent sure that NO OTHER specially- powered good guys will be needed.
Thus the curtain rises.
