Returning the Prince

Thirrin nodded and pulled out her sword before asking for Aslan's help. The rode for a while before they reached the pass. The spy was right, threr were fifteen hundred warriors. They all stood up and raised their spears and other weapons.

*Turned to the troops* "Get into a battle formation. I want the more experienced of you up front, and the younger ones in the back. Do not make the first move, let the Calormens do that, we are still and all peaceful creatures."

Thirrin nodded to her troops and they got into formation. She then took up her place beside the general. "What about the queen, who will protect her?" Thirrin asked the general.

The army got ever closer. Every soldier there nearly held their breath as they waited for the signal to attack. "Wait until they get close enough for us to run without tiring out."

The oncoming army was getting closer and closer. Finally it could be held off no longer. "Attack!" The troops went forward, prepared for the worst, hoping for the best.

Thirrin raged charged into the fight with her regement behind her. The sound that came from the armies when they collided was deafening. Thirin pulled out her sword and started cutting enemies down left and right.

The battle raged on for what seemed like hours. The whole army panted as the Calormens ran away. *looked to Thirrin* "Well, that was fun. How many did we lose?"
