Road Trip!

Susan gave the her little brother a hug and told everyone else goodbye. "I'll see you guys soon." She said, picking up her backpack and stepping toward the front door, waving goodbye one last time before slipping out of the door and closing it behind her. She walked down the sidewalk humming a gentle tune, stepping off the concrete onto the freshly trimmed lawn and walking over to one of the tall trees that stood in the near center of the whole yard.

Amy pulled the car up next to Susan, waving, and hopping out ot help wioth her stuff. "you ready? you pumped?" Amy smiled.

Susan hugged everyone back, then answered Evee's question. "No, not really." She said, laughing at what John said, "Of course, it could have been that he was plotting to destroy my room in my absence." She added jokingly.
