Ri bent down and put Raja's leash on her then tied the leash around her leg. "Let me see it." She said looking at his leg. "It doesn't look broken. I think it's just cut up pretty bad. Do you think you could make it to the house if you leaned on me? We need to get it bandaged up. You're losing quite a lot of blood."

"Yea I think so", he moaned as he struggled to stand placing a hand on Ri's shoulder for support.
 
Ri helped Benji into the house. She led him to the sofa. "I'm gonna go get some bandages. Be right back." Ri said disappearing into the bathroom.
 
"Thanks", he said with a smile, and lifted the injured leg. "Gosh look at all that blood", he said raising an eyebrow. "Hey I do feel like I'm gonna pass.....", he began to say, but passed out before he could finish.
 
Ri returned to find Benji passed out on the couch. She cleaned up the blood and bandaged his leg. She put cold, damp clothes on his forehead.
 
"You passed out from the blood loss." Ri explained putting the damp cloth she had been using on the table. "Here drink some water." She said holding out a glass of water.
 
"Well I'd hate to see you in pain if your puppy got hit by that car", he said carefully sitting up. "I'll be fine though" he said smiling back.
