Do you agree with Hermione on the House-Elf topic?

Not all of 'em. Dobby - the most important House-Elf...and the worst-treated in the series...
I know some of them LIKE working, but that doesn't mean they can't be treated FAIRLY. I'm not saying they SHOULDN'T work, I'm just saying that they should be treated FAIRLY.

I don't think it's right that house-elves are treated like that. But I do think that some house-elves like it that way. I say, the ones who want to be paid should be paid. The ones who want vacation time off or whatever should get it. But the ones who like being treated the way they're treated, just let them, instead of making them terribly unhappy.

..... :rolleyes: Dobby is one in a million. Really he was only a trouble causer. Look in the "Who is more annoying" thread. He was the ONLY house elf in a milllion miles that didn't like working.
 
I finished Section 2!!!!

Section 2: Prevention of Magic
If a House Elf wants to do magic, then why need it ask?? A wizard child doesn't need to ask! For example, Hermione doesn't always ask when she does magic, right? So, if a Wizard or Witch doesn't need to ask? Then why should a House Elf? If they are going to be picking up after you, cleaning and mending things that need done so, they have to ask to use magic? When you want them to do it anyway! If they have to ask to use magic, to do their job, then you mine as well do it yourself. For YOU don't need to ask, you can just do it. House Elves can use magic. SO CAN A WIZARD OR WITCH! So, why not do it yourself???

I'm just saying that they should be treated FAIRLY. It's racism, basically, to treat them unfairly just because they aren't humans.
