Someone took a picture of me a couple of weeks ago. If you don't know me. I'm the one in the foreground. The others are some coworkers. It was painfully hot and no one told me I could wear shorts!!!:eek: aaaaaaahh I was sweating, so yeah.

Mike, you look about the way my fictional character of Alipang Havens should look as an adult. Note that Alipang is a noble, chivalrous Christian hero.

Just for fun, and in case anyone's been wondering where I've been hiding, here's a picture of me in Pirates of Penzance. I play Kate. Our last show is today, and I'm already feeling nostalgic. I'll post a few more once they're available.

For those who don't know what I look like, I'm the daughter second from the right, and I'm the only one wearing a green skirt ;).

How fun that you got to be in that operetta! My whole family just went to a wonderful production of Pirates of Penzance in celebration of our anniversary, and it was so funny!
When the hero sang,
"Oh is there not one maiden here
Whose homely face and bad complexion,
Have caused all hope to disappear
Of ever winning man's affection
To such a one if such there be
I swear by heavens arch above you
if you will cast your eyes on me
However plain you be I'll love you"
--the daughters' staged responses were side-splitting :D

I was in Pirates of Penzance once! I was a "Police Man". In our production all the "Police Men" were played by girls except for the Sargent.
 
Juliet is so lovely and Mike is so handsome! Thanks for posting y'all. Mike, where were you that no one told you you could wear shorts, at work? It's been hot here, too. Yuck!
 
I didn't think I was being funny, but since you mentioned it... LOL! And yes Inky, it was an employee event. I knew it was casual, but I didn't know it could be raggedy! and boy, can I do raggedy!!! :p
