Not gonna make it more political but I'm quite disappointed that topics of LGBTQ, homosexuality and progress in general, even in this modern time, have been dubbed as 'leftist throwing tantrums' instead of seeing it as promoting equality and people trying to be more open and welcoming and less oppressive towards one another. Oh well, what did I expect in a Christian website? I'm just surprised with the narrow-minded comments I saw. I hope some of your point of views had improved, or will improve, sometime in the future.

There is stupid, and there is very stupid, and then there is... this stupid - a "queer Jew" supporting a "free Palestine." What exactly would a "free Palestine" be free of? It would certainly be free of Jews, since the Palestinian Authority has said that no Jew will be allowed to live in a future Palestinian state. It would also be free of queers, since the Palestinians do not tolerate any open expression of homosexuality or gay/queer political activism. It would in fact be like most of the rest of the Arab world: poor, corrupt, violent and oppressive, whether ruled by the gangsters of Fatah or the religious fanatics of Hamas. This person might not know that the existing "State of Palestine" is such a wonderfully liberated place that Palestinian gay men regularly seek asylum in Israel, the land of the Zionist enemy. Israel is in fact the only country in the entire Middle East region where it is possible to be a queer Jew without fear of being beheaded or thrown off a tall building. This person is sadly typical of the infantile delusions of the extreme left wing of the queer community, who have persuaded themselves that radical Islam is a progressive force (presumably because it kills Israelis and Americans). I only hope for this person's sake that they never fall into the clutches of their Palestinian friends.

There is the objective truth of scripture on this subject. It does not offer any wiggle room on what is right or wrong.

But there is also the command to operate in love regarding unbelievers. Jude 22-23 tells us to reach out to sinners of all types (and we are all sinners) but not to be tainted by the sin.

There are many, and this once included myself, that believed that people practicing things that are unquestionably sinful should be marginalized and eliminated from our world. But God once showed me that these are the very people who need to see our love and not our judgement.

So while the sin of these kinds of lifestyles should not be exhibited here, people who practice these lifestyles need to be welcomed here to the extent that many, if not most of these people are decent human beings and deserving of God's love.

At the end of the day, it is not our judgement of these liftyles that will cause lives to be changed, but God's love exhibited through us. It is the Holy Spirit's job to convict these folks to repent of their sinful lifestyles. Ajnd this doesn't usually happen overnight.

So as long as folks don't promote a sinful lifestyle of any type, welcome and love them. Let them experience what a hug from Aslan is like and how it can change lives forever!
