Yeah I do, and I know her from high school. So I feel a bit better knowing she's not a complete stranger. But she doesn't move in until the 23 I think, so I'll be on my own for about a week.

I would not be able to stand not knowing my roommate at all. Two of my older friends had roommates they didn't know at all, and both of them moved back home because the roommates were just too horrible.
Even though I'm sure not all people would be like that, it does feel a little better knowing who I'm going to be living with for a year.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I like to be alone, but in general I like to have other people around, even if I'm not interacting with them, just so I'm not completely alone.

I'm an Aquarius, so I value my alone time *sigh* Im an awkward person..I prefer speaking in this medium rather than face-to-face...lol

You can get single dorms at most colleges, but it costs extra.

I actually like being alone. (I know, I'm a freak) For the majority of the summer my brother was visiting our dad...so I had the house all to myself all day and I loved it.

But living alone is different...I get scared easily. LOL
