It hasn't rained all day long which is good. The water was rising a bit earlier but I haven't paid much attention today. I do know that a bridge did collapse a couple of hours away from where I am. They took water from Marion (which is like the town thats RIGHT next to Cedar Rapids (where I live)) so Marion also has limited water.

Hopefully the water will go back down soon. Apparently there are rumors going around that the city may be condemning some of the buildings downtown.

OH and I found out that my mom's favorite cousin had to evacuate and my grandma also lost her house. They already found my grandma a new place though which is good.
