Did Jadis really died on LWW?

Will Jadis be apearing again on any Narnia books.
I heard she is in Magicians Nephew?

How did she do that?
Please Answer my Questions...

And Who's the Green Witch?
Whats her history?

Ok, The Magician's Naephew is a prequel to LWW, so of course she is alive and in that one.

I read all 7 books, but I am not that familiar with the Green Witch. Well, I am, but might give you unaccurate information..... :p And I certainly don't want to risk THAT!

The Green Witch is the evil enchantress in The Silver Chair. Don't you remember (if you've read all the books)?

Sorry,I've not actually been in the magical world of narnia before...
This would be the first time.

Before I watched LWW i never knew what Narnia is and its magical essence.
After I watched it that was the time i kept researching about Narnia....

And I'm also planning to buy Books...

Thanks princessker for that valuable piece of information...

Oh dear, it is never bad to ask questions. Sometimes people can be too busy with RW to know what actually happened. Yes, Jadis died. Aslan attacked her in the end. When you read the SC, there is mentioned also that there are more people LIKE the White Witch. Jadis was gone, but the evil wasn't.

OK, here's my point of view:

1. Jadis died at the end of LWW. Killed by Aslan, but in The Silver chair, there's a new characther Green Lady, for whome Narnians say that it was probablly sibiling to White witch. As some1 said before, witch is dead, evil not.

2. C.S.Lewsi wrote LWW as his first book, and Magician nepfiew was his sixth book, it was the first story in chronogical order, the story about beginig of Narnia, and how Jadis came to Narnia in the first place.

Too bad that there's no story about her return to Narnia and turning Narnia in everlasting winter. But I've read some fanfiction about it...it does make sence that she actually managed to dicive one of the "ugly" princes of Narnia to chop down the apple tree and help her to return...The name of that book should be Return of Jadis or 100 year Winter.. :)

Yes.

The events in the Magician's Nephew happened before the events in LWW. So yes she is very much alive and a very focused character in the story.

She is an evil lady who kills Prince Rillian's mum and takes him captive.
(She also tries to overtake Narnia, ect.)

It has been said that she is related to Jadis, the White Witch.

i still think all the witches in narnia are reincarnations of jadis. although i don't believe in reincarnation i in real life. hmm sorry that doesn't make any sense but i can't explain it any better.

when i saw narnia this weird boy behind me said: "oh..did she die now?" in this really weird way...and when the stone table broke he said something like "where did he go?" it WAS really funny... :p

i don't think he knew anything about Narnia before he saw the movie...

I think that in Narnia, the evil did not die.....the Green Lady was just another form of the White Witch...not exactly reincarnated, but more of a prisoner of her own magic, as it was beofre with the Deplorable Word.

that's probably because adamson failed to put a little bit of blood on Aslan's mouth to make it more realistic. i asked that question to myself (although i already read the book) when aslan turned around to talk to the kids after what he did. i was like "So is she dead?"

There were more Witches in CoN. Does anybody remember Prince Caspian? When Edmund and Peter and Trumpkin entered the door where caspian was arguying with those other two? There was an old woman and the other dwarf (I forgot his name) wanted to bring the White Witch back to life. Then it was clear to everybody, this old lady was a Witch in reality. So, it was clear there was far more evil besides Jadis. Maybe some people took her as an example or rolemodel to take over narnia.

actually it was a hag and a werewolf but she is kinda a witch but not like Jadis

So is the Green Witch you're talking about the Lady in the Green Kirtle or is tyhat someone different?

They're the same person. Oddly, the antagonist of Silver Chair is never explicitly named, and only shows up twice - once on the giant road riding her horse, and once at the very end. She tells the childen to call her the Lady of the Green Kirtle, is referred to as the Queen of Underworld by the enchanted Rilian and gnomes, and is simply called The Witch by Puddleglum. Hence readers have given her several names: Green Lady, Green Witch, Emerald Witch, etc. I prefer Emerald Witch, but that's just me.

Copied from other post...

:) Ok, I think, that we were all confused with BBC show The chronicles...coz same actrees played Jadis and Green Lady...they do say in The silver chair, at the end:

"...how a wicked witch (doubtless the same kind as that White witch who had brought the Great Winter on narnia long ago) had contrived a whole thing, first killing Rillians' mother, ..."

and after

"...And the lesson of it all is, your Highness", said the oldest Dwarf, "that those Northen Witches always mean the same thing, but in every age they have different plan for getting it."

That was from the The Silver chair, chapter 15, last page...

But now I wonder, what some1 mentioned...if Jadis destroyed every1 in the MN (by saying forbiden word) from where did the other witches come? Jadis hd a family, housband, lover...adopted...
