Sorry,I've not actually been in the magical world of narnia before...
This would be the first time.

Before I watched LWW i never knew what Narnia is and its magical essence.
After I watched it that was the time i kept researching about Narnia....

And I'm also planning to buy Books...

Thanks princessker for that valuable piece of information...
Dont worry. I Did not know about lww until I had a sleepover with My best friend and we went to go see a movie. The Narnia preview was awesome.

Mmm yeah it's quite easy to get into and get the hang of... I'm only familiar with a few of the stories, im not an expert like some of the people I've been talking to...

I am not anything like my brother! He knows everything about it and he could talk about Narnia for ages. He has researched everything there is to research and has read almost all of Lewis' stuff that has anything to do with Narnia. It is really festinating listening to him talk about it because he is so passionate about it.

Yeah I can imagine! :) It's something I could get really passionate about too, and I'd love to, coz there's so much philosophical depth to all of it... just can't seem to get round to it hehe. Maybe by the time I'm 50 I'll have worked my way through the whole series...

I've heard the Screwtape Letters are really good too (also by C S Lewis), has anyone read that? I'd love to get my teeth into it tee hee

I think the point people are making is that she 'died', and that's symbolising Satan's defeat at the cross. however it doesn't mean that Satan doesn't still carry out his work on earth... he knows that at the end of the day he's been defeated, however while he still can he's pulling people down with him...

in a similar way the white witch has 'died' and been defeated once and for all with aslan's reversing of death, but she reappears in different forms in the rest of the series...

thats how i think of it neway :)

Evil reappears, but I don't think the Witch herself ever comes back, right? Is this what you mean?

Doesn't Aslan tell whatshisname...Jill's little boyfriend... that the white witch can't die cause she ate that special fruit from the tree??? sorry I can't remember his name. And then Aslan gives him a piece of fruit for his mom, so she'll get better, right?
All in the Magician's Nephew... im pretty sure aslan tells him that. not to say that Aslan couldn't still kill her, because of course he can do anything, for goodness sake. but still... he did say she wouldn't die...

Jadas herself dies, but what she symbolizes aka evil does not die it just loses its everlasting grip on Narnia and those in it.
