So on TV what shows are your favorites.
Personally I've always been a fan of both Science Fiction and Fantasy.

So my personal favorites are:

a) StarGate SG-1 & StarGate Atlantis. Argueably they are the best science fiction ever written since Babylon 5.

b) Smallville

c) Lost

d) The 4400

c) Surface, Invasion & Threshold

d) Charmed & Supernatural.

What about you? :)

What do you mean no TV????
Um - no television. None in the house. Never have. Occasionally borrow a VCR to have a "movie evening" (last night we watched "White Christmas"), but we don't have a television rigged up to broadcast networks. We're all avid readers around my house.

Most of the shows I like were on 10-15 years ago. I don't get much into modern shows except Joan of Arcadia. I co-administrate one of the biggest Joan of Arcadia sites around.

im with PotW and AtWO...i have a tv, but i dont like to watch it.

excluding for a fantasy movie such as LOTR!

but i think TV is so mindless next to reading.

Well most t.v. is dumb, but there's PBS and National Geographic...and of course TCM...OMG, now that's television... :D

But, this is about T.V. shows?

The only ones I watch are:

Smallville

Everwood (I wish I lived there)

Full Metal Alchemist (thought provoking at best, exciting action adventure at worst).

The Boondocks.

I'd watch Boston Legal for all the witty dialogue but...that would be too much t.v. reading is better...but the occasional movie doesn't hurt...and I'd never miss the Charlie Brown Christmas...no way.

I watch on a regular basis:
Smallville
The OC
LOST
Family Guy

And when there's nothing on:
Fairly Oddparents-that is the single most hilarious cartoon ever (for the kid set)

I don't like tv much. When I do watch it, it is football (Denver Broncos!), Fox News, local news, and sometimes Mythbusters (which is mildly entertaining). Occasionally I will flip to Animal Planet and watch animal cops. The wife and I occasionally watch ER together.
