I thought we had an allience.
I though we were friends.

Too much time! *Has no life*
Ya . . . *cough*
Way way way to much.
Hey, Tess! *Watches Psych*
who's "you"? Me? Heh heh heh.... about a biollion hours a day. I was actually off most of the day today, though..
Lol! Ya . . . I used to be like that. Okay, here's how it works:
The first 3 months you absolutely love it!!! You meet so many people, tap into their personalities, make about 3-5 really close friends, and generally have a hay day. Then, somewhere around the end of month 3-4, you start to touch base with something else . . . the "drama" part. That's totally the worst of the worst. It's when you discover that so-and-so has some deep, deep chinks in his/her armor. Then you start spending about 80% less time . . . until you realize that a week went by and you didn't even miss the place. That'll happen for about then next 4 months, and you'll start liking it again (especially when you see how some people change over that four months). During this period you'll spend quite a bit of time on TDL, but not as much as when you were a greenhorn. But it also hits a certain point when the high school drama comes back with even more intensity than before. About this time a couple of your really close friends decide to drop out of the place, and your contact with them is limited to emails or IM. Aaaand ever so slowly you repeat the previous steps until you yourself stop logging in and finally drop out. It's the way it goes.

Ya, somehow the three of us were always in the middle of it.

Thats really sad and morbid!
Not exactly. It's almost like "real" life, except at a much, much faster pace . . . which is a bit morbid and sad. :p

Naw, that's usually the name of the game. Usually the people who stay here the most are the mods, but it makes you wonder who'll be here in 10 years, if anyone will. But chin up! One of my bro's best friends (he met on a LotR site) is this awesome Christian he was able to meet and really get to know when he stayed at his house for Passion '06 down in GA. Just remember that TDL is not an olive-green site, but a group of people. ;)
