The meaning of life is to live as fulfillingly as possible in the way God intended. You have no higher meaning than to simply live.

Or, if you're looking for a dictionary answer:the condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally
 
If one wants to truly live, one must truly love. If one truly loves, then one truly lives. Since the One who is All Life is All Love, this is so.

Life is a journey home. One cannot have joy without sorrow, laughter without tears, peace without pain. Life is made up of both the light and the dark. They are connected. If one exists, the other must. You cannot have one without the other. All is intimately connected.

Life is a journey Home. A journey to become more like the One that made us, that made all things.

(these are just my 2 cents. I do not claim to know everything or to have the so-called meaning of life down pat. I don't. I'm a seeker.)

thanks all. i was just reading a book about a girl who was considering suicide and then how she turned back to God and stuff.

ah, well. i think deeply. a lot. I feel deeply. I refuse to be fake, superficial, shallow, etc. "We were meant to live for so much more."

edit: how do i know? because God has given each and every one of special gifts. Undoubtedly you have some I do not. Whatever they may be. :) You are you and I am me.
