I'm not sure about that...What about Boromir in LOTR? Granted, he was partially corrupted by the Ring, but he had a true heart, & fought bravely at his end (this analogy will be lost on you if you haven't read the books or seen the movies.) But, I would agree that you shouldn't have more than one main (good) character die, & VERY rarely have THE main good character die...Just my two cents. :p

Well Boromir wasn't really a main characture I would have prefered if he hadn't died but it fit in with the story.

I also think its ok for the main good characture to die if they are really annoying. I dont know if you've read Eragon and Eldest, but it would be fine with me if eragon died.

True, but I think that is mostly because he died so early in the story.

Yeah...

I kinda felt like Eldest was a bridge book to Brisingr, though it was necessary, it didn't grab my attention like Eragon. Haha! I loved Eragon & Arya! I don't care much for Nasuada, though.
