No, I decided against it. I mean, even today during flute technique class, when he was sitting two chairs away from me, and there were only me and two other freshman girls in the room, he didn't even acknowledge me. So I figure he probably didn't want me there anyway.

You're probably right. It's just hard for me, because I've never actually tried to make friends with any guy I've felt attracted to because I'm so shy, and now that I have, it seems even worse than if I had just left him alone.

I hope in the future you try to befriend the next guy you're attracted to. I really don't want this experience stop you in the future. This guy might be shy as well. Or if he completely ignores your existence, he could be a jerk. In case he is a jerk, I say you can do much better anyway. :) *hugs*

Just guy problems... generally when I "like" a guy, I am so shy about it that I don't talk to him. Well, this time, I did talk to him a bit (on Facebook) two nights ago. During that time, he invited me to go to a concert with him and a group of friends. I said that I probably would go. Anyway, the next day during band practice, he didn't say anything to me about that, or even acknowledge me in any way, and he did the same thing today, even though I was sitting practically right next to him in flute technique class. So I decided not to go, since he doesn't seem to care whether I'm there or not. It's just frustrating for me, because what happened this time seems so much worse than what would have been if I had just left him alone.
