What songs remind you of your friends?


A song that reminds me of my closest friend and I is Graduation (Friends Forever) by Vitamin C. My closest friend, Drew and I sat outside one evening talk about what we'd do growing up. We always hung out with each other and we still do. We're Friends Forever. ;)

And

Looking Through Your Eyes by LeAnn Rimes reminds me of the guy I like.

Each of my Heaven-summoned wives gets a movie song. Mary, who went first, is linked in my mind with "Into the West" from "Return of the King." Janalee, my second love who came to me when I was relatively old, fits with "Winter Light" from the LWW movie.
 
"We're All In This Together" from High School Musical reminds me of my church friends. It's one of those songs that everybody hates except me. :p

"Shine" by Aly & AJ reminds me of a friend I made last year. It actually relates to both of us.

"Sorry" by the Jonas Brothers reminds me of myself and a couple of my friends who I've lost touch with or have ignored recently.

"Brighter" by Paramore reminds me of a guy named Jake, who passed away this year.

"Hello, Goodbye" by The Beatles reminds me of the kid across the street. I guess you could call us friends...

"Meant to Live" by Switchfoot reminds me of Gaby, aka hello mcfly. =] =]

So yeah, I have a lot...
 
"Bohemian Rhapsody", "Bicycle Race" and "We Are the Champions" make me think of my high school band from sophomore year. We did a Queen show, and every time we rode anywhere on the band bus, someone would start up a sing-a-long of it.

"Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey makes me think of the guy I like, because one day at practice, he sang about half a line from it, but it stuck with me, and now whenever I hear that song, I think of him. :rolleyes:

No Scrubs by TLC makes me think of Tiff now. LOL!

It is on my Icky Guy Playlist. We were talking about one on the what are you listening to thread and I had to create it.
 
Anything by Mika, 'Big Girls Don't Cry' by Fergie and 'Sexyback' by Justin Timberlake reminds me of my friend Lizzie because we have good memories which involve those songs :D

And 'I Kissed a Girl' by Katy Perry reminds me of my friend Anna.

My Chem's cover of "Astro Zombies" makes me think of my friend Lainey.


And the original recording of "Hound Dog" (made famous by an Elvis cover) has been added to the Icky Guy Playlist. :D
