Spider-Man 3

I thought it was quite interesting the way that the black alien when worn by Peter became a spiderman suit but it turned that guy, cant remember his name, into the venom, a very scary looking venom.

One of Spiderman's red and blue suits was turned into the black suit, and he still had another red and blue suit. This gave him a choice in the movie, and of course he went with the black. I thought that Eddie Brock's character as Venom was very cool, evil, and necessarily scary. Venom actually reminded me of the Alien movies when he screeched/roared and bared his teeth/fangs. It was very cool.

Maybe thats wht it effected Eddie more becuase he had an eviler heart than Peter did. The venom or suite had not 100% control over Peters body so he was able to fight it unlike Eddie who wanted revenge anyway and he died for that suite.

The Symbiote seems to only enhance negative emotions; like aggression and violence. And after it has been on a host for a while, it begins to completely take over. Infact the symbiote that took over the serial killer Cletus Kasady to become the infamous Carnage would call him self "I", instead of We like Venom. Even Brock eventually became completely consumed by the symbiote in the cartoons and comics to the point that he said "There is no long Brock, only Venom!". So it is obvious, the longer it's on you, the more it takes over to the point that you begin to lose who you are. Peter himself began to notice this in Spider-Man 3, but fortunately he dealt with it early, before it was too late, besides the fact that he had a good heart.

I saw Spider-Man 3 on the airplane about a week ago. Unfortuantly it was edited to make it more PG so most of the fights were shorten (except the last one, thank goodness) and the darker parts were almost fast fowarded.

Yeah for about a six hour flight I thought they would show the full-length movie and for some reason they cutted out a lot of funny scenes.

Well I picked up my copy of Spider-Man 3 today at Target. It includes two discs and a bonus third disc provided by Target. I watched it just recently on our big 50 inch Plasma and it was simply gorgious.

Tagline: Every Hero Has A Choice...

Thomas Haden Church does do a good job of portraying a man who is truly trying to help his family, but crossed the line and accidentally murdered Uncle Ben while doing it.
