It is illogical Dr Mc coy and unhealthy to split myself in fact its scientifically impossible to split yourself in two halves when you need both. You cannot survive outside of your own body.

somtimes i wonder if card playing is logical it seems as a waste of time and intellect to me.

We really should be investigating and studying this nebula Captain find out if there is anything in it we could use or scan it and find out if its a threat to the ship or us any.

(ooc ok so all it is really is you get five cards. You look at them and discard the cards you dont need. then you pick up however many cards you discarded from the deck. Lets say I wanted to get rid of three, so I'd say to the dealer (Kirk in this instance) "hit me" and he'll give you three cards. Since in this game twos are wild you can pair any card with a two. in five card draw the highest you can get is a royal flush (Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, all in the same suit ♥s ♦s ♣s or ♠s.) after that is just a flush (same thing only not the same suit). Then a straight of any kind (ex:4,5,6,7,8 all in the same suit) then four of a kind ex: four aces. Then a full house (three of the same kind and then a pair) then three of a kind then a pair.)

"Come on gus lets just play, I'll put down two," Kirk said as he got two more cards, his face unreadble.

IC: Bones picked out two cards and set them down on the table. "so will I. What does your Vulcan logic tell you to do next, Mr. Spock?"
 
" On the contrary doctor. I thought it thru and studied my cards and the other players carefully. I figured three would be the better discard and the wiser and more logical decision cause i could have a better possibitly with three instead of two. My human flawed side had no precedence in it my decaion was purely logical Doctor McCoy." He raised a eyebrow and nodded at Scotty.
 
Kirk dealt them their cards and was looking at his. "Ok I'll bet four chips," he said putting for chips in the center of the table.

"Wha ya think Bones? Do I look happy as a clown?" Scotty said.

Kirk smiled slightly and added, "I'll raise all of you ten," he said.


Scotty looked at him shocked, "I fold."
