Hmm, there are several films that have made me cry, but these are most notable:
Star Trek II: wrath of Khan. Okay, seriously, anyone who doesn't cry when Spock dies at the end needs their head examined! I was crying buckets when he gave Kirk his salute and said, "live long and prosper" before he died. *sniffs*
Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe: the first time I saw this movie, I couldn't stop crying from beginning to end. Why? Reason 1, the movie was beautiful; 2. I was so happy that Narnia was finally on the big screen, and 3. the message. Seeing it on screen just completely blew me away and made the story even more real.
Prince Caspian: it didnt' move me as much as LWW, but still, I was crying in several moments of the film: when Lucy realizes that Mr. Tumnus and the Beavers are gone, I think I cried at the end of the Dancing Lawn scene, when the Pevensies see the Stone table, after the castle raid and at Aslan's How, and of course at the end. Who didn't cry at the end?
Mr. Magorium's wonder Emporium: such a cute film, but it's got some hefty messages to it. There were several moments that were a tearjerker, but most notable was the ending when Mr. Magorium said goodbye to Mahoney (played by natalie Portman). My sister and former best friend looked at me funny in the theater and laughed at me, but I didn't care. I still cry at that part.
Finding Neverland: anyone who's seen this film should know what I'm talking about. the ending of course got me the most.
Amazing Grace: lots of reasons this one got me crying, but the ending was the best.
Facing the Giants: if I used tissues when I cry, I would have used at least half a pack. I readily identify with the characters and what they were going through as it's been pretty close to what's happened in my life (though my dad's not a coach)
Fireproof: made by the same people who made the aforementioned film. But it's a much needed antidote to all the crud in this world and the whole conversation at the cross was the best part. Of course, I knew that it would have a happy ending, but the message of the Gospel was conveyed so well and clearly.
LotR: Return of the King; I only cried once, the first time I saw the movie. Haven't cried since.
yeah, there are lots more, but....maybe later.
