Susan's fate-The Journey To A New Life

SUMMARY::
In many books [or even the Last Battle itself], C.S. Lewis stated that Susan is no longer a friend of Narnia. As Jill said "She's most interested in nylons, and lipstick, and invitations these days." But what really happened to the Queen of Narnia? Lewis said that she will find her own way to Aslan's country someday. Here's a fanfiction to support that thought; also a fanfiction that will help cheer up disappointed Susan fans. [like me] :) Enjoy~!

Chapter 1:: Narnia without Susan... It's just not the same.

The friends of Narnia have arrived at Aslan's Country days ago. Lucy seemed to be troubled these days. Jill, noticing this, went up to her and talked to her.
"Hey, Lucy. What's been bothering you?" asked Jill.
"It's-it's nothing, really," replied Lucy.
"By Jove, you haven't been this gloomy since I last saw you!" exclaimed Jill.
"I just... I just miss my sister." she began to cry.
"Oh, Lucy!" exclaimed Jill as she flung her arms around her. "We know that Susan's no longer a friend of Narnia. Why bother? I mean, she wants her own life. We gave her that; on Earth. Besides," she added. "What am I here for?"
Lucy small-smiled. "Thanks, Jill. I know. I know you're there for me. But, no offence, Susan's really my best friend. She's my sister. I've spent many times with her," explained Lucy. "I hope you understand."
Jill nodded. "Yes, I understand you. But it's alright. Aslan did say that she might come here in her own way. You never know." Jill said this to lighten Lucy's spirit up. Lucy seemed to notice.
A little while later, Peter, Edmund and Eustace came walking on the balcony. Lucy ran inside the room and reasoned, "I want to be alone!"
The boys looked at Jill. All she replied was, "We need to speak to Aslan."
So they did.

"Something troubling you, Daughter of Eve?" said Aslan as they entered the room.
"Y-yes, Sir. It's Lucy." Jill replied.
"What about her?" asked Aslan anxiously.
"She-It has something to do with Susan," said Peter.
"Your sister?" said Aslan.
"Yes, Sir," answered Jill. "She misses her a lot."
"Isn't there anything we can do to help Susan? I know there's still a bit of Narnia in her!" persuaded Peter.
"Yeah! I mean, if Peter came back, why couldn't she?" reasoned Edmund.
All of them looked at Aslan.
"Susan is on Earth now with her friends. She just received the news today that her whole family is dead," began Aslan. "I can feel the very day when she will return to us."
Jill and the others looked at each other.
"Bu-but, how is that possible, Aslan?" asked Eustace. "The old Narnia IS dead."
"Is it possible, Aslan? That she could still come back?" asked Jill.
"One might hope, children. One might hope." replied Aslan.

-END OF CHAPTER 1-

Not meaning to be a sourpuss, but Scripture assures us that in Heaven there is no more sadness at all. Peter, Edmund and Lucy might well PRAY FOR Susan from Heaven; but Susan's disregard for God would NOT be allowed to spoil THEIR happiness in His presence. This is a major theme of Mr. Lewis' book "The Great Divorce": that unrepented sin must not be allowed to "hold Heaven hostage." I myself once dreamed up what Douglas Gresham calls a "Saving Susan Story" (there are many of them); but my version would not make Susan's rebellion against Aslan so powerful a force as to defeat Aslan's ability to give happiness in Heaven.

I like this so far! Keep on writing what YOU want. It is your story.
Come on Copperfox!!! It is only a fanfiction. And then we don't have to follow the strict rules all the time ;)
Next chapter! Next chapter!

I agree that heaven should not have sadness in it at all (as written in the Bible) but the story is great so far. :D

Good Job Anna keep it up indeed its true copperfox but Cs Lewis put the new narnia as a reprsentation of heaven so just let the girl write she is doing a awsome Job Plus we are redemtition and we got a second chance that is what
Christianity is all about Susen should at least get a second chance herself Aslan gave that to her in PC

Good story, but everyone else, anything could happen in heaven, right? Will you not be sad for the foolish choices others make down on earth? Will you not be sad for those that don't make it to heaven.

I was really sad about Susan too, I thought that the was that she was going to make it back to Aslan's country is just by dying of old age.

Here's what you guys have been waiting for!!! :D

Chapter 2:: Seeing things
Back on Earth, Susan was living the life any sixteen-year-old girl dreamed of: Parties, friends,
late night out. Every Friday and Saturday, she did this. One day, a terrible-if she would call this
terrible-news came to her. This has been an old news and she only heard it now. Her entire
family was dead. Her father, her mother, her siblings Peter, Edmund and Lucy. Did she care?
No. After hearing the news, she just said, "Bother them. I can visit them in their graves anytime."

One day, she attended a party of her best friend, Michelle. Susan, of course, was the life of the
party, as usual.
"Lovely party, Mich," said Susan that night.
"Why, thank you very much, Su." replied Michelle. "Is it fit for a sweet sixteenth?"
"Haha, very funny. I'd bet mine was better," she joked.
Good thing Susan joked this time. When she was with people she didn't like, she would
compliment these people meanly and then stomp away.
As they partied into the night, Susan thought she saw her brother, Peter dancing.
"MICHELLE!" she shrieked.
"What?" Michelle rushed to her side.
"W-was that my brother, Peter?" she asked.
"Susan, that's Billy, captain of the soccer team... And," she added. "You-your brother is dead,
isn't he?"
Susan didn't reply. She shook her head then went to get a drink.
When she arrived at the table where the food was, she asked the guy in charge to get her some
punch. The guy turned around.
"What did you say, sis?" It was Edmund.
"AGH!!!" screamed Susan. The glass she was holding fell and broke on the floor. Michelle ran
to her side.
"Susan! Are you alright?" she shakily asked.
Again, Susan could not reply. She blinked and saw that it was an old man talking to her.
She imidiately ran outside, having made a fool of herself.
"Susan?!" called Michelle. "Susan!! Susan!! Susan!!"
Her friends kept calling her name. When she neared the exit, the sound of the voice changed.
It became a young girl's voice-younger than her. When she looked around, there was no one
there. When she looked infront again, Lucy was standing there.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" she screamed. "Wha-what do you guys want?! Leave me alone, you...
You GHOSTS!!!"
"We need you, Susan... We need you..." said the shadowy figure of Lucy.
"What?! I don't want to die yet! Leave me alone! I'm happy here now!!"
"We need you... We need you, Susan..." continued the voice.
Susan fell on the floor. She put her hands on her ears and yelled and yelled to the voice to stop.
"Susan... Susan, we need you... Susan... SUSAN!"
Michelle and her other friends came running down the hallway. She ran to Susan quickly.
"Su, are you okay? What's the matter? Tell me, please! I'm getting frightend! You were never
like this before!" panicked Michelle.
"Michelle, please, can I sleep over at your place? Please, please, please? I don't want to stay
at home alone!!!" Susan begged.
"Um.. O-okay.. We need your things first," replied Michelle.
"Okay! But please, I don't want to be alone!!!" Susan began to cry.
Michelle looked at her friends then hugged her friend.
"It's alright, Susan. I know you're depressed. You can stay with me."

Chapter 3:: Secrets of the Past
Susan lived with Michelle for 2 weeks. One night she felt a little odd.
"Mi-Michelle??" she called through the door.
"Yeah? I'm here, Su, don't worry." replied Michelle's voice.
"I...I'll just get some fresh air outside.." said Susan akwardly.
"Uhh.. Okay, whatever you say," said Michelle.
Susan wore her robe and went outside. It was a starry night and the woods and hills were so
quiet. The lake infront of her was dazzling in the moonlight. (Michelle's house was in the country
side). Susan walked toward the lake. She thought about her past with her siblings Peter, Edmund
and Lucy; how much fun they had when they went to the country side. Then her mind moved
to the thought of them hiding in a wardrobe and entering a Magical Land where they all became
Kings and Queens and ruled for years and years...
"No.. Those were just games. We were kids then. It was understandable," Susan told herself
foolishly. Suddenly, the wind blowed and Susan gave a slight shudder. She turned around to go
back inside the house.
"Susan, stop!" said a voice.
Susan stopped. She was shivering... Not because of the cold; because what was standing behind
her was the last person she wanted to see. The ghostly figure of Lucy stood by the lake, crying.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I'M HAPPY HERE WITH MY FRIENDS!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" cried Susan.
Then she ran inside the house. The voice began chanting again; but this time it was pleading:
"Susan! Susan, please! Come back to us! We need you! Susan!" the voice went on and on.
Susan covered her ears and started crying. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!"
She ran to the stairs. Before she reached the top of the stairs, Edmund was waiting for her.
"Please, Su. We need you," begged Edmund.
"NO! LEAVE ME ALONE!!" screamed Susan.
She ran to the kitchen only to find Peter, Edmund, Lucy, this time with Eustace and Jill. All of them
wanted the same thing. "Please, Susan," said Jill. "We really need you. Please,"
"STOP IT!!! LEAVE ME ALONE!!! PLEASE... Please..." Susan kneeled down and began crying.
Jill's ghostly figure went closer to Susan. "We won't stop bugging you until you come," she said
quietly.
Susan looked at her gravely. "Wha-what?! You-you're joking! No, I won't!"
Jill shook her head. "We won't leave you alone,"
Susan bit her lip. "NOOOO!!! Please, I'm begging you..."
"Remember, Susan. We won't leave you alone not unless you come," warned Eustace.
The other four ghostly figures nodded.
"Susan!!" came Michelle's voice. She ran to her friend. "Goodness, are you okay? Why were you
screaming?"
"I... I have to go to the Professor's house tomorrow," Susan said gravely.
"Wha-what? I can't understand you-" said a very confused Michelle.
"Susan, what's happening to you? You've been screaming and screaming; even in your sleep."
Michelle said worridley.
"I do?!?" Susan cried.
"Yes.."
"What do I say?"
"Well," said Michelle with difficulty. "You keep screaming 'Stop it! Please, leave me alone!' then
you mention your siblings... Same words you just screamed now."
Susan said nothing. Lucy and the others won't stop bugging her if she doesn't come...
"I... I have to go to the Professor's house!!" Susan said finally.
"Susan, not now." said Michelle. "Sshh.." she said as she wrapped Susan in a warm hug.
Susan was still crying. "We will.. We'll go to the Professor's house tomorrow." Michelle
added.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day, Susan and Michelle walked a few miles westward going to the old house of the
Professor.
"If you don't mind me asking, Su," said Michelle curiously. "What are we going to do there?"
"Take a look around," replied Susan. "I know I left something there... I think it was myself,"
Michelle didn't understand Susan but she kept quiet anyway. When they got there, she said,
"Isn't this the place where you went during the Air Raids in London?"
Susan nodded. They continued inside.
"Strange... It looks like no one's ever lived here before," said Michelle when they got inside.
"My siblings have been here before the railway accident happend," replied Susan. "Lucy even
wanted me to come, but I said no."
They went upstairs. "Mich," Susan said.
"Yeah?" she replied.
"Um, could you kindly wait for me here? I just want to check the upstairs," requested Susan.
"S-sure..." said Michelle.
Susan went upstairs. First, she entered a room which was divided into two. The beds were nicely
pressed and the sheets were clean. This was the room where she and Lucy used to sleep.
The other part of the huge room used to be Peter and Edmund's room. Susan left the room,
for fear she might cry if she remembers the memories. She turned around in a corner and she
came upon a hallway.
"S... Spare Oom..." muttered Susan. "Oh my gosh!" she cried. Susan eneterd the second room
in the hallway. Facing her was a closet. "Finally!" she cried once more. She opened it and boxes
came falling down on her.
"What on earth-" she got the boxes off her then opened them.
She opened the first box. It was all stuffed toys. After minutes of confusion, she realized they
belonged to Lucy. She cried when she remembered this. She opened the next box and some
old stuff that belonged to Peter and Edmund were still there. Another box contained Eustace's
and Jill's old things.
"My, I miss them more than I thought..." Susan said to herself.
She opened the last box. She felt different when she opened the box. What was inside it was
two rings: a yellow and a green one. She wanted to touch them, but she felt she wasn't supposed
to... But Susan, being sort of stubborn, picked the yellow one. She held it and nothing happened.
"This makes me wonder..." said Susan. Then for no reason, she began crying. A few minutes
later, Michelle came into the room. When she saw Susan crying, she ran to her.
"Susan! What's wrong? What happened?"
"This... This place brought so much memories. I can't bear to stay here anymore," weeped Susan.
"Come, we should go home," said a caring Michelle.
Susan got up and they both left the house.
