*Sings for the dancers*

Beauty I'd always missed
With these eyes before,
Just what the truth is
I can't say anymore.

'Cause I love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Yes, I love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh, how, I love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

*falls off the stage and into a pile of leaves, giggling*

The inside story:

Back during my Mary's cancer ordeal, one of the many friends who stood by us was a divorced lady named Judy. Mary herself had once told me that Judy had something like a crush on ME, yet Mary didn't seem to resent it. On the day Mary had her pleurodesis operation to prolong her ability to breathe, Judy was with me in the waiting area. Judy and I found ourselves in a long, close hug, though with perfectly innocent intent. When some other people came in, I remarked that this was "a G-rated hug," which it was.

I was later to revive the phrase "G-rated hug" when I acquired the affectionate relationship I now enjoy with 15-year-old Bruiser. This became shortened into "Gug." As a corollary, my father-like love for her sometimes is called Glove.
