Argent added in, "That's right. You can never be too prepared. Plus, we train every day to get us ready for whatever enemy we're going up against next and what maneuvers we should use."

The door opened and she stood in the doorway and said, "I just wanted to inform you that we have a new member to our team. Her name's Sam but she wants us to call her Ice Hawk. Is it ok if she joins us in combat practice later? I thought you'd like to know what she can do with her powers." She waited for his reply and then will later inform everyone else.

"Thanks, Star," said Robin. " I would love to see what she can do, but right now, there is something that needs our attention."

"What about training practice?" asked Speedy.

"It's postponed for today," said Robin. "I'll explain everything up stairs."
 
"You're welcome Robin," she replied, "I'll meet you upstairs." She then drifted out of Robin's room and into the main room to wait for Robin's announcement.

Argent and Ice Hawk's outside activity was delayed because she heard that they were supposed to go to the main room to wait for Robin. He was going to announce something.

A few minutes later, all of the Titans were gathered in the main room. Robin had the floor.

"First of all, I would like to welcome Ice Hawk to the team. And seoned as much as I would love to see what she can do before giving her full membership, I am calling a condition red, Titans."

Every one gasped. Robin never even called this when Slade was on the loose.

"As you all know there is a violent and dangerous criminal on the loose in the city. All my leads point to one person.... "
 
Starfire was the first one to recover from her shock to ask, "Who's that?"

Argent was the second one to recover but she waited to hear what Robin would reply to Star's question.
 
Star thought a moment and tried to remember all the enemies that they've gone up against and the Joker was not one of them. Star replied, "That sounds like a new enemy that we've gone up against. How are we to defeat him?"

Argent was second to ask, "How do we know what maneuvers to use if we can't have traning practice today?"
 
Starfire repeated her question, "How are we to defeat him?"

Argent just sat on the couch hearing everyone else murmur in agreement and about what the best possible maneuvers might be to use against him.
 
"How are we supposed to defeat him if we don't know anything about him? I know you've fought him before Robin but if he's known for doing the un-expected........ and It's been a long time since you came here from Gothom."
 
Star nodded her head in agreement.

Argent repeated Star's action but with a serious expression on her face, like she was trying to figure out what kind of maneuver she could use against this trickster.
 
"I mean I'm sure you could have taken him back then" Terra said to Robin "but he could have totally changed everything by now. Tactics, weapons... We already know he changed towns and enemies!"
 
As Star heard Terra say this, she came up with an idea in her head and said, "Since we have a new enemy, how about we change the way we train? For example, we could have partners to train against that have similar powers so we can get feedback and know what kind of maneuver to use against him."

Argent liked that idea and nodded her head in agreement. She also thought that since both her and Star kind of had the same power, except for Star's laser beams, they could train together.
 
"That sounds like a good plan! I also think we should switch of who we train with so we can get experience with other powers." Terra suggested
 
Star added, "I was thinking that maybe Argent and I could train together since we kind of have the same powers and then we can switch off every five minutes or so with someone else."

Again, Argent nodded in agreement and noticed out of the corner of her eye that some of the other team members were also in agreement.
 
Star jumped up and down in joy after she heard what Terra said and giggled.

Argent just smiled at Star's glee and was glad that they were in agreement.
 
"Excellent ideas, team," said Robin. " One of our best assets will be how we function as a team. The stronger we are the harder it will be to break us. However at least four of us will need to keep tabs on him. I'm already deciding to go on patrol. Who's with me?"

"I'm in," said Speedy.

"Any one else?"
