Puddleglum's my favorite character. In fact, next to Aslan, he's the character I'm most looking forward to seeing portrayed on film. My choice of actor to play him would be James Cromwell (Farmer Hoggett from "Babe"). IMO he has the build and the dour face to fit the role. :)

I was just watching him last night in Six Feet Under. He'd be good in that role, you're right... I'm just wondering if he might be a little old to be Puddleglum.

My favorite character is Edmund. Redeemed characters are always sooo much more interesting. Having flaws, even after LWW make Edmund seem more real. I also like Eustace and Jill for nearly the same reasons.

My favorite Narnian is Caspian, he just seems so gallant.

I liked Corin Thunder-fist . . . actually, Corin because even though he's a prince, he's down to earth and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty.

But who could not love Aslan?

i like lucy. she's very honest, kind-hearted and courageous.
polly & digory are cool too.

i like too, the calormene who goes into the stable in the last battle to see tashlan. he gets into the new narnia...
emm... in fact, i think i like everyone.

I like Lucy, because she really believes on what's going on between make-believe and reality. Somehow, it's like believing in the Tooth Fairy, which I believe in. :)

If we're talking about favourite characters in the movies, my top three:

1. Eustace. That kid was hysterical. Such a prat, and unlike Edmund, he still was obnoxious once he started to mend his ways. He made me laugh everytime he had a scene. Period. I can't help it, I just love the mean ones. I happen to adore Draco in Harry Potter, too.

2. Puddleglum because he was so gloomy but he somehow never came across as depressing. I loved that he was so wise about everyone and everything around him but when it came to himself he was entirely clueless.

3. Reepicheep was great in these (even though the costume was less than spectacular). John Rhys Davies (the guy who plays Gimli in LotR) said the best thing about his character was that he didn't realize he was small. Take that same statement and apply it to Reep. That's what makes him so much fun.

If we mean the books, my top three:

...okay, so they're exactly the same. I'm boring like that. I also loved Trumpkin in both, just not as much as the others.

It's not too surprising that your fave characters in the movies are the same as in the books, firefly, considering the movies followed the books pretty closely. ;)
And I had to laugh at what you said about Draco Malfoy
I like him, too, especially in the movies... what would they be without him? I mean, you just need a good bully... :D

Lol, as Fae knows, I adore the badness of Draco too.
I just think Felton does an awesome job, ha, as does Jason Isaacs as Draco's
father! ;)

Superb, quite superb! I love the Dracos ... they're so ... evil!!! Just perfect bad guys, really. B)

Lucy is also my favorite and always will be, because I was so little when I was introduced to Narnia. She was the only one I could really relate to. Of course, I can't really relate to her that much now that I'm older... but when something leaves that strong of an impression on you in your early years, you never forget it. I love Lucy best. :D

i LOVE draco!!! Me and my friend read this fantastically horrible yet oddly addictive fanfiction about him. If you want it it's on this schnoogle website under Cassanda Claire's works. She also writes the Very Secret Diaries (LotR parody/spoof thing) it's great if you want a laugh.

http://www.schnoogle.com/

Once you're on this website you'll see a link in the upper left hand corner that says "all fanfics on schnoogle sorted by author name" or some such. Click on that and then just scroll down until you reach Cassandra Claire and you're all set. Just a warning, these are hilarous but they are not intended for young children they contain some er, interesting stuff so jut a warning...
