ooc-
I listen both types of music, and then some.
Paramore is a great band; their songs are great and they perform with amazing energy.:)
Pearl Jam IS epic.;) They sound so unique, and their lyrics are incredible.

Now, let's try to get back on the thread topic. How about it?:D

ic-

Mrs. Allan finished her lunch and headed back to her class to finish up her lesson plan for the day. She was starting a new project that she had high expectations for, not only for her students but for how fun the project would be.

ooc- i'm gonna speed things up a bit.
The bell rang, a mess of students exited the cafeteria.
"Well, I guess i'll see you later." Mckenzie said with a smile

The next 3 classes went by fairly fast. The last bell of the day rang and Mckenzie went to her locker, put away her books, and walked outside to her lime green vespa.

Sara rushed out of school and onto the bus wishing she had her own car. She tried to finish her homework on the bus but she kept getting distracted by the girl in front of her's really awesome boots.

Anna walked out the car. She was back... ugh! Her dad would be waiting for her... maybe not, maybe he was asleep, with a beer bottle on his hand. Her nose wrinkled as she smelled the house's living room.
- Hey, Chuck! - She said out loud. Chuck wasn't on the view. of course, it NEVER crossed her mind she should call him dad. - I'm back! -
She heard mumblings and mutterings, and maybe even growlings. She entered Chuck's dirty, bad- smelled room and rolled her eyes. He was exactly like she thought he would be. He opened his eyes.
- Hey, honey. - He told her. She stared at him surprised. - Take those butterflies away, okay, baby? - Then, he snored. Like she supposed, Chuck was drunk.
She walked in her room, left her bags around and sighed. All she wanted to do was to call Kenzie to see if she was able to hang out today. She wanted to forget she lived in such a house.
This is your present, and your future isn't different. Maybe, you'll stay alone like Chuck, with a bit of luck.
She had met Jays, a nice guy she knew since she was a little girl on her journey home, but he was only one of those possibilities she would never reach. She would stay alone and she knew it.

Mckenzie drove her lime green Vespa to the the small apartment building that she and her mother lived in. She bounded up the 4 flights of stairs to the apartment door that read '501' opened it to be greeted by her small barking pug.
"Hey mom!" Mckenzie said
"Hey Kenzie." Her mother greeted cheerfully
Mckenzie then made her way to her bedroom, tossing her bag on the floor and plopping her self on her bed.

Anna dialed Kenzie's number.
- Hello? - Kenzie's mother answered. Anna lay on her bed.
- Hey, Miss - She told her. - Umm, is Kenzie over there?

"Yup, she just got home." Mckenzie's mom said then walked over to Mckenzie's bedroom door and knocking on it.
"Kenzie, Anna is on the phone for you."
"Alright." Mckenzie said excitedly getting up off of her bed and picked up the phone that was on her bedside table.
"Anna!" She exclaimed happily.

- Hey, Kenzie! - Anna found herself very happy to hear her friend's voice. - I've missed you soo much like crazy! How have you been, girl? You gotta tell me what's been all around here since I left. Anything interesting???... anyway, we can meet now if you want. Just tell me if I pick you or something... -

- Great! see ya in a while -
Anna took her I-Zune and put Fall Out Boys. Dance Dance would cheer her up...
After a while, she met Kenzie. She looked just the same cool way and Anna wanted to know everything that had happened while her absence.
- Hey, girlie! - She hugged her... Kenzie had been the only person she ever hugged. - I've missed you.

After walking to the Starbucks around the corner Mckenzie spotted Anna.
"Anna Banana!!!" She shouted enthusiastically, hugging Anna.

Anna squeezed her tightly. - Kenzie... - She stared at her. - You, silly goose, didn't call... well, I didn't tell u my grandma's number, so... -
Both sat in a park, and Anna enjoyed her coffee slowly. They were quite silent for a while, but they enjoyed each other's company. At least, Anna felt "whole" with Kenzie.
- So, tell me, Ken. What's been happening around here? -

"Yeah that would make sense." Mckenzie smirked taking a sip of her caramel frappachinno. "Um, does being insanely bored count as anything." She rolled her eyes with an amused smile.

"Gosh, so nosy!" Mckenzie said jokingly "Well I dunno. I did hang out a little bit at school with that guy Damien from our english class." She shrugged.
