The Duffer Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition

Although, now that I think about it, I would have to change "different than" to "different from". Y'know. 'Cause it's more grammatically correct.

I think it can be considered an eliptical sentence; the "is" is implied.

No, I do not feel the need to define "is."

"Bowl," however, can be defined as

1. The thing Freckles wears on her head.
2. The thing falling through the air, with petunias in it.
3. The thing that, when inverted, makes up the sky.

Or, as a verb:

4. Rolling the Duffer Sun at random terrified cacti.

I hear that, instead of rolling the Duffer Sun, one could attempt to roll elliptical sentences, but since they are not true circles, they probably wouldn't roll as well.

I sincerely hope you aren't citing the Duffer Encyclopedia here. I certainly do not wear a bowl on my head. I wear hair on my head, which is neither shaped like a bowl nor in any other way akin to a bowl. It's rather like the spaghetti you would put into a bowl, but even though the two are related, they're completely different things with different fates. The spaghetti are eaten by GG while the bowl goes back in the cu- Nope, wait, it appears the bowl gets eaten by GG, too. My bad.

I hear that, instead of rolling the Duffer Sun, one could attempt to roll elliptical sentences, but since they are not true circles, they probably wouldn't roll as well.

But if the elliptical sentence employed circular reasoning, it could work. My ambition is awakened! I shall seek to create such a sentence!

Like:

The Duffer Sun rolls because it is less shiny than the Can, and it is less shiny than the Can because it rolls.

I skipped two ises. I hope that's enough?

Freckles, about the bowl on your head....

That's not the bowl of petunias, is it?

The Duffer Sun rolls because it is less shiny than the Can, and it is less shiny than the Can because it rolls.

Ah, but you forget that a rolling stone gathers no moss, therefore, if the Duffer Sun rolls, it would be shinier than the Can. Since this is obviously false, it must, in fact, be the Can that is rolling.

The Can never rolls. How dare you suggest that the august and honorable Can would stoop to such undignified behavior?

No matter what the Duffer Sun does, it could never be shinier than the Can. To suggest otherwise is heresy.

The DLR is delusional. He (she? it?) is rolling a conventional barrel down the hill, thinking it's the Can.

Wait...

...

Is that Nori in that barrel?

They DLR prefers being referred to as "they."

After all, there are a lot of them.

The barrel rolling is a fundraiser...they need more money for explosives. And poster putty.

You sound more like a Telmarine every day....

Note that the above is not a compliment. It is a mental diagnosis.

I bugged Lossillion about coming back around; but, if all else fails, I suppose I can edit the bibliography myself....

*evil mod smirk*

EDIT: It just occurred to me that I do to Lossiful's name what Freckles keeps doing to my name. But Freckles definitely does it worse.

(I meant that I can get into Lossilarion's posts and edit them using mod powers. Though, of course, anyone can write new articles and post them on this thread for consideration in the Encyclopedia.)

That wasn't even a real edit  Also, I used to add awesome suffixes to your name, but after I ran out of those, I had to find something else. Would you like me to begin adding Greek and Latin suffixes to your name, Glenburnoeides?
