That song of theirs was probably just rhetorical.....they were singing from the Devils point of view with a twist of sarcasm or irony. It is a great song.....;)

The question is a bit unclear. My _guess_ is that you really mean a choice between two _ways_ of memorizing a script, i.e. by reading or by hearing. I would choose to read the script.



If you were in a position to inherit something from someone wealthy, would you rather simply inherit money, or inherit valuable property like a mansion?
 
I would say an older home, except that i'd miss some modern items of convenience. I'll stick to older home provided that it has an efficient, working central heating system, secure doors and windows and a burglar alarm! I regret the necessity of including the latter item, but unfortunately, it is necessary in the times we are living in.

Swimming in a heated indoor pool or a river on a warm, sunny day?
 
All the rivers are so polluted! So I'll go for indoor swimming pool.
