The Golden Mallorn Leaves

Rodwen quickly leaped upon Gedwey as the shrill shreaks of the Uruk-hai approached. The thump of feet drew near as she collected the last of her weapons from her camp. She galloped of into the rising sun as her foes drifted into mere black spots behind her. She gave a sigh of relief when they didn't pursue her. After assuring herself that the beast's were far from her presence, only then did Rodwen halt to retrieve water. She had lost her water skin in the hasty escape, therefore she was pressed to make another skin. She entered into the sparse forest and picked out four large leaves from which one tree produced. Then she set about to make a bag.

Once an hour had passed her water and supplies were filled to the brim and she was well rested. Nimbly, she mounted Gedwey and pushed him into a slight gallop. After realizing that the Uruk-Hai has blocked the way to Mirkwood, Rodwen decided she would travel to Minis Terith to contact old friends. She needed question's answered and she knew just where to look.

By the second day of her journey, Rodwen finally reached within 3 leagues of The White City

"I understand," Amera said. She was clearly daydreaming. Ahead in the distance she could hear a galloping of a horses hooves. Probably just someone visiting the city. Amera thought. Slowly she heard the gallopping stop. They were getting close to the city. Amera could faintly make out the white moutain that was Minas Tirith itself. But closer in her view she could a woman... no a she-elf. She had a horse with her. Why is there an elf in the middle of Gondor. Probably the question anyone would ask if they spotted me, Amera thought.

Rodwen looked upon the White city with admeration. It wasn't as beautiful as the elves buildings, but it was the city of kings. The city of men. Men who would take over Middle Earth someday.

As she halted, Rodwen heard something behind her. Kinsmen? No. It couldnt have been. How would they know she was there? She turned slightly and noticed it was an elf and she-elf. Confussed about the appearance of her own folk, Rodwen continued to the city, trying to avoid contact.

Amera saw the she-elf push on, She saw us, why would she do that? Amera pushed on past and with in mere minutes she was beside the she-elf riding, Sean a few feet behind her. "Hello," Amera said politly in Elvish.

ic. Thanks. That was my old one...but I changed it. I missed it though and changed it back. :p

ooc. "Buisness" she retorted. Then added under her breath"and other matters to attend to"

Instead of getting silence, Amera was questioned" How about yourself?" she asked still in a gruff voice, though seeming not as mad.

"Ah, I also have business in Minas Tirith," Amera said, not giving away her true reasonings.

The response was silence. Rodwen doubted everything she heard from stranger's so she didn't have a reason to respond. She just rode on without emotion or talk. Suddenly she turned off cource and went to the eastern part of the wall. She pushed Gedwey into a light gallop.

ooc. Sorry to double post...

ic. After finally reaching the gate on the eastern wall, Rodwen trotted through the scarcly busy road's and entered. She weaved her way through several people and avoided the odd look's of people starring at her. Once she reached the main part of the city, she went to the library.

As Amera reached the gate she told Sean that she would meet him later and that she must ted to business. Amera led Starbeam to a tavern on the city's lower peire. She paid one of the stable hands to fed and water the mare and left. She entered the tavern, "Shade's Run." Amera walked up to the bar and sat down, pulling the hood down off her head. She ignored the odd stares of the people. A gruffy looking bartender walked over, "What can I get you?" he said in puzzlement, probably having no idea what an Elf would drink. "I'll take a glass of water, please." The bartender gave a half grin and walked away.

The bartender returned with a mug of water, "You know there was another of your kind in here just about two or so days ago. A tall chap... don't quite remember his name..." Amera's eyes lit up with excitement, Was Tamae here? Have I truly come in the right direction? The bartender continued to ponder, "Tom, Tim, Teddy, Tad..." "Tamae?" Amera asked curiously. "That was it!" the bartender exclaimed joyfully. "Oh, thank you. You don't know how much that means to me," Amera cried in pure delight. "Do you know where he went?" "Sorry, ma'am, but beggin your pardon, I don't ususally tell other's business," the bartender said gruffily. Amera picked at the man's brain, without him knowing, until she found the information she needed. Tamae left for Ithilian.

Meanwhile Sean had strode all the way to the seventh level, where he requested a meeting with the Steward of Gondor. Alas, he learned the Steward was "quite busy" and couldn't possibly see him til much later. Sean got grumpy and made his way down to the Fourth level, where he conversed with some soldiers on the wall. He learned quickly that Osgiliath had come under attack by Sauron as of late, and Orc raiding parties constantly crossed the river, yet were repulsed by the valiant garrison.

Amera drank the water and rested for a while. A little while later she thought she had better find Sean and see if they could head to Ithilian. She didn't want to loose her track, again.

Finally after searching for long tiring hour's, Rodwen found the information she was searching for. She sighed with relief then walked out of the dim room. The light from outside blinded her vision for a moment but she managed to recover and walk down the levels of floor's. She managed to reach the main level and ride through the street's without being noticed too much.

By the time she had given Gedwey resting and good care, she was parched, so she entered the bar named "Shade's Run". She went to the counter and asked for water. The waiter nodded and went to the back to grab a glass. She waited silently and noticed several things she needed to change before her meeting. Her clothes were caked with mud and still dripping with water from crossing the river the day before. Her hair sat in a mop atop her head and seemed to clutch her head. She had'nt eaten decent in a few month's too. She didnt mind being dirty or not having good food, but it was nice to be clean every once in awhile. She pulled her cloak from her head since she was getting hot in the small crowded room. A few stares were glanced her way but shifted off.

Rodwen noticed the other elf as well. She ignored contact, figuring that it was the one she had seen earlier. She ordered water and sat in silence. After drinking several glasses, Rodwen walked out and went to the stables. Once she had retrieved Gedwey, she rode back out through the street's and ended up at a small tavern. She dismounted and took her mount to the barn where a stable hand took care of him. She then walked into the tavern, which was named Innisfree, and registered for the night. She then put her equipment and possesions in her room and sat in silence on her bed.
