The Inbetweeners!

I can't just say ONE THING about the Spelling Police, can I, without having many messages of "DONT JOIN THEM!!!" come after.
I'm just saying I WOULDNT MIND if they gave me an opportunity.

no one in their right mind would ever join the spelling police. I may possibly join the inbetweeners, as it's better than being in the spelling police/resistance

I don't personally have anything against the Spelling Police, therefore I have no reason to hate them. They just tell people when they're spelling wrong, and tell them to spell correctly. That's it.

SW: No its not. See, the inbetweeners are people who spell correctly when they can. But they don't go all crazy when someone misspells something. They don't try to spell or misspell they just type and what comes out, comes out. :D
Hear hear!!! I prefer words spelt correctly, but I'm a shocking speller myself.

That's alright. As long as you're open to corrections, you'll get along with the Spelling Police. It's only when you start openly rejecting our gentle reminders that relations start breaking down. :D

You can join, if you like... there's about 1 week of probation when we're watching to see if and what spelling errors you make (typos don't count) and such-like.

EXACTLY! This whole 'resistance' business is just the rebelling-against-authority thing.

I need to read that (its a book isnt it:p)

Yes. Although, the BBC made a movie out of it... and it's one of the best movies-from-books ever made, it sticks to the book really closely.

maybe. though it'd probably bring a more interesting result from olorin if someone joined the resistance than the inbetweeners. but yeah,. i guess i'll join here.

Already happened, Abby. You're not the first. :p Take FG, for instance.
