Gandalf sighed deeply as he considered the question. To Mordor there is but one way, with many options yes I will agree to this. But one way in the general speaking..
Elrond gazed out of his window to the east he saw the sun rise and he noticed the hobbits all gathering around the pantries. "The amazing thing about those creatures is that the more danger they are in, the hungrier they get."
Gandalf and Elrond chuckled

IC: Gandalf replied Let them be, they will need all the strength they can muster, an more for this journey. Come Master Elrond, we should go to the others and gather supplies for the journey ahead. But first I must go and see a little hobbit...
Elrond and Gandlaf leave Elronds room and Elrond heads for the stables or wherever the other elves are. Gandalf goes toward the hobbits to talk to Frodo

Gandalf and Bilbo walked toward the hobbits. Gandalf looked grave and Bilbo was ecstatic at seeing Frodo.
Bilbo ran toward them and there was much chatter..
Gandalf leaned to look at frodo "Do not put it on Frodo, its powers even reach here to Rivendell."
Gandalf looked up and saw Elrond's face in the window.
Elrond shook his head, "He is to weak, to weak!"
