Here's a little more. Sorry about the fact there's no chapters.
I started to run, I was that eager to get to the exit. Some guards came round the corner, and I ran straight into the burlyist one.
"Woah little lady, why are you in such a hurry?" he said, holding me at arms length.
I began to cook up a lie in my mind. "I got lost, and I don't know the way out!!" I started to wail, hugging the man, trying to act the cute little kid.
He started to stroke my hair, shushing me."It's ok, I'll get you home."
We started to walk the way the map had shown me, hugging me into his arm. I started to stagger, pretnding my legs hurt. "Ow, my legs hurt."
"Aw it's ok, I'll carry you." He swept my knees out from under me, catching my shoulders, holding me to his chest. I tucked my face into his chest, to try and hide my face from anyone coming past. To be honest, I was very surprised that he hadn't noticed the sword and gun strapped to my thighs, surely they dug into his arms. Maybe this was a trap too.....
I felt him stop. I know that he had gone the right way, because I had made sure. If he had gone the wrong way I would have got my sword and stuck him with it.
"You need to get done now." he whispered in my ear. I let him lower me to the ground, where I stood on my pretend shaky legs. He helped me walk to the door, of which I could see the sun through. I felt my whole body aching for the sun, but forced myself to go nice and slow. We walked through the door, the hot Italien sun soaking my skin.
"Where would you like me to take you little lady?" he asked.
I looked at him, astonished. "You'll give me a lift?" I was throughly confused, I had expected him to just dump me out here, and leave me to my own sources.
"Well, that was what I just offered wasn't it?" he said, laughter in his eyes.
"Um, yeah it was. Could you take me to Rome? Though I don't know how far away that is...." I said, unsure if he was going to figure me out, and drag me kicking and screaming back inside.
"It's only about an hour away, anywhere particular in Rome?" He asked me, his face showing no emotion.
"No, no, I know Rome like the back of my hand, I can find my way through." I smiled at him, surprised at his kindness.
He started to walk away, toward a distant building, gesturing with his hand for me to follow. I walked toward him, following him to the building.
