I think everyone knows where the film was filmed and I know people would love to go there or even have been there. It's a amazing isn't it. New Zealand is a must go place to visit I have to agree. I went for a month with my family it was when the third LOTR's was filming but unfortnantly I didn't see anyone famous there. *sighes* You know I think the next time you go on holiday to must tell your parents to go to NW. I would recommend it. I would go again any day. :rolleyes:
 
Hmmmmmmmm, I totally agree with you, but I dont think this is the right place for this thred. Im not sore where it should go tho.

I would really like to go to New Zealand.Those Elephant Rocks looks incredible!
And of course I would look for the arrow Anna shot away shooting the battle scenes :p (if you wanna know more about that,I would recommend reading the official illustrated movie companion)

DaughterofEve92, I didn't know you were a Kiwi!! Are you in Auckland or in Wellington? I don't usually look at people's profiles. I thought for the longest time you were either an American or in the United Kingdom.

Peter...hmmm this wouldn't be Peter Jackson would it??? LOL

Now there's a guy who's remained humble and free of the materialism and superficial things Hollywood has to offer...he's probably one of the most, if not the most, powerful directors in Hollywood, yet he seems to be unaffected by all the fuss.

I really would LOVE to visit New Zealand. Twenty years ago before it became the land of Middle Earth & Narnia, some distant relatives went there and came back with tons of photos...and all I could think was how beautiful and varied the landscape was...in some ways like California, with snowy peaks, open fields, forests, and interesting wild life.

Is the kiwi fruit really from New Zealand?? I know there's a flightless bird which I think is the national bird of NZ called a kiwi...this brown bird.

LOL ok let's say my LEGS look like kiwi fruits.Round,brown and fuzzy that's so true (ok they're not very brown but...anyway :p)
 
Haha see that's what I get for reading too quickly. I just went back and noticed it was Mar DUHHHHHOHHH and not you who mentioned their father was friend's with a rich Kiwi.
