Chloe covered her own ears letting out a scream, and Straz, who hadn't been suprized by Torak's approach, growled when he heard the racket. "Would you two cut it out?!?!? Geez! You are worse than the people in Chloe's time! By God!"
Chloe laughed. "Be glad you didn't go to a concert and get into the Mosh Pit....."
 
Torak and Renn exchanged confused glances... then went off a little ways away. They were talking and pointing at Chloe and Straz... then Torak gave a little jump of suprise... he ran to find Fin-Kenndrid. Renn came back to them.
 
As Chloe and Straz watched;

No Straz! Don't you dare listen in on their conversation! I don't care how much they point at us!
But-
No I said! Think about it! Would you like someone delving into our conversations?
No- But this is about us!
So? It doesn't matter, if they tell us they tell us. Is that understood?
Yes, my lady Straz said sarcastically bowing.
Growling at him, Chloe knocked him upside the head. Behave you big teenager!
He laughed. She began to storm back to the hut, but he grabbed her arm and pulled into an embrace. "Let go of me!" Chloe said pushing against his chest.
"Oh quite complaining."
"Shut up Straz!" You think that I'm all fun and games? I'm serious right now! It's very rude to easedrop!
Calm down. I didn't did I?
Not until you take me seriously! You treat me like a child! No matter how old you are, you aren't going to subordinate me like that!
Chloe-
No! You listen to me, I'm not going to stand for it! I'm-
Stop! the anger in his mind was forceful. You know very much how much I love you, and that I'd never EVER subordinate you! You are my equal! I may play fool but that doesn't mean I'm subordinating you!
I- Chloe began, she felt her anger melting away.

Renn's arrival knocked them out of their argument. Chloe pulled away, her anger stopped, Straz was aggitated.
"So? How'd it go?" Chloe asked, keeping the sadness from her voice.
 
"Ummm... well if we can find the seer... everything... will... be........" she drifted off into her thoughts... about what would happen if they didn't find the seer in time!

ooc: you can read my mind... idc :D actually that would help.
 
OOC: Straz can connect with anyone and anything... Chloe on the other hand can only connect with Straz. It's an exhasting thing staying connected to someone's mind.

IC:

Straz was connected with Renn, when he heard her thought. "What do you mean by that?" he asked.
 
Chloe raised an eyebrow scared that she had missed something. "You were worried that if you didn't find the seer before your marriage, that a prophecy wouldn't come true. What do you mean by that?"
 
"Straz! You read her mind?! You promised not to easedrop!" Chloe cried out angrily.
"I didn't mean to!" Straz said angrily. "I was connected with you when she entered the area! I didn't know she had such a readible mind!"
"My God My God! Straz, you should have let it be!"
"What aren't you curious as well?"
"Yes but that doesn't mean I'm going to delve into her mind to find out!"
"Woman you know very well I didn't mean to!"
 
Chloe and Straz were at each other's throats, and didn't hear.
"What a gentleman you are! And if you do not stop subordinating me-"
"So now it's a crime to call you a woman?! Oh God help us all!"
"Shut up Straz!" Chloe said angrily.
"No! You listen to me! I am tired this! You need to grow up youngin! I'm older than you by around 90 years!"
"That doesn't mean you can boss me around!"
"Woman! If it weren't for me you'd be dead several times over!"
"You can't die but once you idiot!"
"Well you've certainly had enough brushes with death to have killed most daredevils!" Straz's anger grew.
"Oh so you are the hero now?! I'm tired of this as well! Stay here for all I care!" Chloe turned away, tears blurring her vision. "I will not stand for this Straz! I can not!" Chloe activated her ring and disappeared leaving a very angry Straz and confuzed Renn.
 
"Ummm... should I ask???" Renn didn't know what to do... then realized that Chloe had ran. She was after her like flies to honey! "Chloe you have to come back!!!"
 
"OMG WHERE DID SHE GO??????!!!!!!!!!!!!" No one liked it when Renn was mad... everyone knew to stay out of her way, and answer her TRUTHFULLY.
 
"She went back to the Wood Between Worlds..." Straz said angrily. "OH Crap!" he cried. Disappearing as well, he went to find Chloe.

After a few minutes they had returned, Straz holding an unconscious Chloe in his arms. "Can I go lay her down before you ask questions?"
 
Straz, crouched gently placing her on the ground. Covering her with his cloak he left the room, and sat outside burying his face in his hands. "Now what were you asking?"
 
"Yes I read your mind, not on purpose though. You entered the range of connection. I didn't hear much. All I could tell was that you were concerned that if you didn't find the Seer before your and Torak's wedding, the prophecy would not come true. What the prophecy was, I'm not sure, but somehow you think it concerns Chloe and I."
