I know there are other fans,and I can't find a thread,so who loves their music/tv show? Whos your favorite? Whats your favorite songs?:D

My favorite is Davy,and my favorite songs are "Daydream Believer"(of course.;)),"When Love Comes Knocking At Your Door","Valleri","Love To Love","Forget That Girl","Last Train to Clarkville","I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone","Look Out:Here Comes Tomorrow","Sometime In the Morning","I'm A Believer",and "Made For Each Other".:D
 
My favorites of their songs include "The Girl That I Knew Somewhere" and "Sweet Young Thing." The sort of rap number they did, called "Zilch," actually contains a line of dialogue from the old Broadway musical OKLAHOMA: "Never mind the furthermore, the plea is self-defense!"

Monkees songs were among the songs (besides Christian ones) that I used to sing to Janalee when we were out driving. The time when the Monkees were current was NOT part of that period which God had chosen to erase from Jan's memory, so she remembered their TV show pretty strongly.
 
Always loved the Monkees and watched their TV show when it was originally aired. They were the first real group with music videos if you don't count the Beatles three movies.

I liked "Daydream Believer", "I'm a Believer", "Last Train To Clarksville", "Valleri", "I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone", and "Look Out: Here Comes Tomorrow".

Oh yeah, Peter Tork, Mickey Dolenz, Mike Nezmith, and Davy Jones. I have most of their music.
 
I voted Nope. Not that I don't like them but there was no Other option :(

I used to love them. I watched the show daily on tv and I own two cd's. My fav were Davy and Pete. During those years I loved many oldies songs and although I still cherish them I don't listen to it anymore. The songs I loved: Daydream believer, I'm a believer, Last train to Clarksville, I'm gonna buy me a dog and some more I can't remember out of my head right now.
 
I have been converted! My Mom got me into them and I listened to her best of the Monkees three disc set with her today. So I can actually talk to you (DaydreamBeliever) about them now without feeling totally clueless. :p
 
^they've totally been on my MP3 player too because of Audrey :D

and yeah, she converted me a long time ago. I love Daydream Believer and I'm a Believer (most popular ones) and I really want to hear I'm Gonna Buy Me A Dog again but I can't find any good versions of it on YouTube
 
Its too bad "Gonna Buy Me A Dog" isn't on YouTube. The music vid is adorable and Davy's quips always crack me up.

I read somewhere that you know you're extremely obsessed when you try to get everyone you know into the fandom. I'm definately obsessed.;)

So far I really like the song Daydream Believer and I'm Not Your Stepping Stone. There are others, too. I just really started listening to them today, borrowing my Mom's three disc collector's edition best of the Monkees.
 
I know you never said anything about photos, but I've been saving some pics and felt like posting them, and figured, why not here?
I have a lot of Davy, but I have group pictures, too.
