"thank you, I always loved the ocean, I used to live by it untill my father died at see, then my mother and I moved, that was 10 years ago, I haven't seen the ocean since." Mara looked at Susan, slightly embarest," sorry, I souldn't be talking I'm sure there is work for me to do."

Susan listend to intently. "Oh well actually theres not much for today...Ed's room could use a little help though..there is already four maids who are working on it" she laughed.


"Oh no Aslan the angry mobs are moving closer what do we do!?" Lucy asked, laughing.

"Well...Ed decided to have a party last night in his room with some of the fauns...but be sure to be qiuet becuase needless to say the little pinheads still alseep.." she shook her head remembering the party he had had last night. "Do you have any siblings Mara?"


Lucy screamed, she hid under Aslan as she was commanded, "Hurry Aslan! here they come!!" she reached out and began throwing a bunch of pillows in the air them came tumbled down on top of them.

"I had a brother, but he was on the ship with my father, he died when he was 12, my mother died a week ago, thats why I'm here, all my family is dead."

" thank you, but there is no point in greaving for them, it wont bring them back." Mara looked at Susan," sorry if that sounded harsh, but I didn't have much of a family after my father died, my mother treated my like a slave."

Lucy giggled. she felt his forehead. "Oh Aslan you feel hot! maybe I should check your temtature!" she said playfully.

Susan thought for a moment. "Well you could start on cleaning the windows...they havn't been cleaned for weeks" she smiled, she wanted to start out by giving Mara an easy job.



Lucy giggled. "I know Aslan I was just playing! Susan, Peter, Ed and I used to play docter all the time!"

Susan nodded. "Yes and when your vinsihed you can help yourself to anything thats in the kitchen..just make sure you get there before Ed does" she smiled, remembering the time Ed had almost eaten everything in the kitchen.


"Don't worry Dr. Lucy here to help!" she smiled, "first I have to take your temtature" she grabbed a breadstick sitting on the nightstand and stuck in Aslan's mouth then took it out.

"hey I am better! haha! lets play!!!! lets pretend I am a baby and you are the mother! I am a pretty big baby though but that is okay! I have a little mother hahaha! let us play that! do you have any big daipers big enough for me to wear? what about a big baby bonnet? goo goo gaga!"
 
Lucy laughed. "Alright! that was also something me and Su would play..that is before she got boring!" she laughed, running to the closet, she pulled out a huge sheet. "Ummm...I don't think we have any daipers but I could rap you up in this cheet and pretend your an infant and then you can grow into a toddler!!"


Susan smiled. "Thanks ever so much"
